Now the big reveals are out of the way.. let the drama begin!
There have been big reveals in almost every episode lol but Anna Kim is yet to reveal herself to her ex and daughter… also Mi Sook’s son hasn’t told her what he’s doing either… and Sa Ra hasn’t told YG about Se Jong’s biological mom yet… we still have lotsss of reveals left!
I need to learn Korean. But I always wonder how do English speakers manage to learn those languages. By "those"…
It’s a little hard for Latin-based language speakers to learn Korean because the sentence order is different and the language is particle based. I’d say, learn how to read and write first. It’s very simple and you can do it in an hour. English is an SVO language(subject-verb-object) while Korean is SOV. So you could try and get familiar with it by taking the Duolingo course or something. Once you get comfortable with the grammar structure, it gets a lot easier. Weekend dramas and reality shows/ variety shows are the best because they use everyday language. Since there are three levels of formality, it IS pretty hard to grasp the language. Just keep listening to it. I use Duolingo for grammar and 90daykorean for tips and other stuff. Good luck!
That was actually a good way to reveal how they met in their childhood!!
at this point, I expect DD's dad to find out Anna Kim is his ex in the next three eps and then find out he's the lost little brother of Mi Sook in another two eps... this is FAST 😂
that scene where Sa Ra imagines seducing YG... she's annoying but damn I caught a glimpse of hot Hyun Woo can be and now I can't wait for the romance to blossom 😂 but the main couple is cute together no matter what
does anyone have recommendations with similar plots? I need something to fill the void as i wait for the next…
Try Never Twice... it's another weekend drama with the cutest baby EVER and a cast that includes Kwak Dong Yeon and Youn Yuh Jung It actually held my attention for all 36 eps.
I don't remember them ever saying that Ling Xiao and Jian Jian slept on the same bed in Go Ahead. She used to sleep with Zi Qiu. Zi Qiu used to stay in her house, but Ling Xiao stayed in the house upstairs. You could call it one HOUSEHOLD, but they did stay in separate houses. Zi Qiu was more her foster bro than Ling Xiao was... Honestly, they drop hints all over the drama. ZQ and JJ totally act like siblings from the very beginning. LX and JJ were different. When both confess, you can see that she's considering LX but she never ever ever even dreamed of ZQ as a potential love interest. Remember the mosquito repellant scene? It clearly showed the difference in their relationships. Even after the confession, JJ wasn't bothered at all with ZQ. She never saw him as a man.
Love this article! I'm glad I avoided some dramas and glad I did watch some of them^^ I do like those dramas where the ML leans in very slowly, asking with his eyes, so FL can decide whether she wants to consent or not. Between SWDBS and WWWSK, I thought SWDBS was more comfortable. He waits a lot for her. He always gave her space when she needed it and never pushed himself onto her. Remember the "Please like me" dialogue? I thought that was adorable.
I wonder if you've watched Touch Your Heart. In that one, the ML first asks permission to hold FL's hand. She consents and then tells him not to ask next time. A few eps later, FL asks permission to kiss him. After the kiss, she tells him not to ask when he wants to kiss her. I thought the scenes were done very well. You see the shy little baby steps the two take towards each other, and then one of them finally initiates something to go a little further in the relationship. I found it very, very , very adorable.
