I agree about IOTNBO. It makes viewers think that love "fixes" everything. That if you find a person who loves you, your problems slowly go away or whatever. A lot of things KMY did were inexcusable. But even if you want excuse it because of her traumatic past and her ASPD, I felt she really needed PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HELP. At some points, it feels like the drama makes a mockery of mental health institutions— she literally runs all over that mental health hospital and NO ONE thinks she needs a help? It frustrated me so much that Gang Tae had to handle TWO people while he himself was so broken. It frustrated me that this poor FL wasn't getting the actual help people need in the real world. Younger viewers can be misled so easily! You want romance? Okay. But I really think both partners must be mentally stable and strong enough to create a romantic relationship.
I love it when "enemies to lovers" isn't very toxic... they hate each other but no one is torturing/being really mean to the other. My favorites are Lost Romance(TW), Jugglers and I'm Not A Robot . Two strong characters, no one is a doormat, no one is dumb or stupid, and everyone is ADORABLE!! It's so rewarding to stick with the bickering and insulting (I enjoy every minute, ngl :P) and then they finally get together to form the sweetest, fluffiest couples^^ I think it's because the characters have already seen the worst sides of the other. Now it's just a matter of finding out their GOOD sides!
I loved him as Danny in XX, he's really cute here too and so worth it, hopefully this opens up bigger doors for…
They'll get there someday!! Meanwhile, let me just waste time on neverending, historical cdramas 😂😅 PS: are you a Xingmi/EXO-L? Your username makes me wonder...
I had a lot of reasons not to watch the drama, but after this article there is only one thing stopping me— I don't want to watch Bae In Hyuk as an SML 🙈 I fell in love with him after Kiss Goblin and I'm glad he's getting bigger roles (My Roommate is A Gumiho and At A Distance Spring is Green)... but I think I'm going to wait till he gets an ML role 😅 All his facial expressions have me falling head over heels over and over again
One of the author's reasons listed in favor of dubbing is the noise level in China, both inside and outside. India…
India does have lots and lots of languages, but the people who speak those are usually in a different state or look different. How do I say this? It's like each state is almost a country with distinct culture/tradition/looks, etc. So if you bring a South Indian into a North Indian movie, anyone can tell that he's South Indian and forgive his weird accent, if he has one. And everyone generally knows Hindi or the main language in that state. There have been instances of dubbing when an actor doesn't know the language, but I've watched a lot of movies and haven't noticed any dubbing.
I can't pay for spotify... should I? I seem to like using Youtube premium more.. I like to see the song performed…
I also use Youtube Music a lot more because you get all forms of the song. And also certain songs (especially Chinese drama OSTs) don't have official versions, only fan ones.
I found out about him from the song "Start Over". I loved his powerful voice so much that it made me go listen to every song he's sung. He's my favorite male solo artist without a group. Love him most because his live vocals are unparalleled... he usually sings just with a live orchestra and it sounds so good! Go listen to his latest duet cover of Olivia Rodrigo's "Driver's License" with Woojin. SUCH A POWERFUL DUO!! 😍
It's now available on Viki but, as is always the case with Mango TV dramas, it came without pre-subs so it'll take some time to finish segging and subbing from scratch.
I'm only on Episode 18 and loving the drama... now I'm scared because of all the comments here. Writers must have lost steam and started writing nonsense, huh? WHYYYY If this doesn't end well I'm rioting -_-
For me, Flower Of Evil is the best,Best Character and Dream Woman Portrait,The Decision they made, the reason…
I know right?? But I guess the psychological-romance-thriller genre is not for everybody :( nearly all of the dramas on the list are rom-coms. Flower of Evil was my favorite drama 2021... such a powerful, emotional, thrilling story!
idk but I actually started to like the FL after a few episodes. She started out irritating and uncouth, but I really like her now. It's the ML I hate... so.... idk... even according to historical cdrama standards, he's bad. Sometimes I think he has split personality disorder... he's so cool and nice to her as the Night Hero but such a jerk during the day.
