It's the type of drama to watch spread out over lots of time. It doesn't have too much romance between the main leads and there's no real driving force to the plot. It's a warm, slice-of-life piece of sunshine you can go to as a break from fast-paced dramas. Healing, sweet.... and it has the theme song OST from Go Ahead!! I really broke down when it started playing.
I agree^^ The romance was the driving force of the drama. So you classify a comedy Shakespeare-era style? You can define a romcom in many ways, but if I was a new viewer and you told me to watch FoE the romcom, I'd freak out 😂
I love romances and I've always been a defender of the trope-y rom com, yet lately I've actually found myself…
I totally understand you! Tropes are always tolerable when there is depth and real chemistry between the characters. I loved I Am Not A Robot and You Are My Hero for those reasons. There was depth to the characters, it was refreshing.
For me, Touch Your Heart and You Are My Hero were the best slow-burn romances ever. Touch Your Heart: The romance really burnt even though it was slow. Good law plots and I really fell head over heels for LDW's portrayal of a smartass lawyer who was a total dork when it came to relationships. I liked that though FL was cutesy and innocent, she also was 3-dimensional, not shallow. The hilarious office staff were an added bonus!^^
You Are My Hero: both couples were fun; didn't like the second one much at first, but after some time I found myself battling over which couple was better. Loved the smart female lead and the cool male lead. Two absolute blockhead MLs finding love. WHAT could go wrong?
Both drama main couples' relationships were so healthy, refreshing and sweet.
I maybe completely wrong but this is just like an assumption. I genuinely think Myung Hee and Hee Tae won’t…
From the perspective of Korean history, that president was forced to resign four months later and complete democracy came seven years later. Don't you think HT's dad would lose power some way along that time?
