Thanks! I've bookmarked both. A couple of years back I had come across many chinese mini GLs, they were so beautifuly made and the actresses were quite good.

Most short dramas are aimed at youngsters who mostly don't care about low quality. The only good aspect is that these dramas have some really good actors who may not easily get lead roles in long form dramas...

MDL needs to start specifying which dramas are made for young girls. The FL is definitely strong and I loved that about her, but since it's aimed at young viewers, she starts to act stupid every now and then, which lowers the quality of the drama. Dropped it.

China needs to make GLs without censoring them. After 'couple of mirrors' I haven't come across any good one...

The original story was already stupid, instead of working on a fresh idea the writer simply swapped roles of the leads. Hence, another silly drama. But the actors were good.

6 episodes already. The FL is not just submissive but stupid as well. I don't know if it's her acting or the way the character has been written but she fails to evoke any sympathy for her. Her disgusting husband is the real villain, and the actor has done well.

The FL's mother is old but brainless. She keeps blaming the other woman for 'stealing' the husband as if he is a toy with no brains. She has no control over the cheating man, so the easiest way is to fight with a stranger.

But the ML is even worse. Instead of staying neutral when he knew a hotel guest was cheating on his wife, the ML went out of his way to protect the cheater to further his own career. Such a man is a massive red flag.

It's ok, you might notice if you watch it again. I'm not just skimming thru so I notice expressions as well.

Now that the ML is softening, I thought the FL would become smarter as well. But whenever her filthy dad protects his concubine, all the FL can do is to act shocked as if she doesn't know what a loser he is. Hopefully the drama won't just keep showing women being beaten while letting the main culprit suffer a few insults and get away with it.

On the 7th epi and as soon as the ML appears, all that the FL can do is cry, beg or kneel in front of him. All her independence and strength disappears in front of him. I hope it changes soon.

It find it so funny when fans try to defend such FLs by claiming that these grown up women talk like kids to portray innocence. I don't recall any ML who talks like a child. Even when it's a noona romance, the ML will be normal.

I know such FLs are quite popular and even the actresses know what sells. So nothing is going to change. All we can do is either mute or drop hahahaha

Ever since DC went away, I go thru comments on MDL to find out if a drama is worth my time or not. And yea, too many dramas land every day so why watch bad dramas even after knowing they are bad lol

These days I instantly drop when grown up FLs talk or behave like kids, but if my fav actor is in it or the story is interesting then I lower the volume or skip scenes. I know there are men out there who like to see such women lol

They really trusted the actors to carry this silly drama.

Why is WHX stuck in bad dramas? Untamed was the 1st time I had seen him, and he was SO GOOD.

This one hasn't started well. I never like when one of the leads hurts the other in the name of protection. After what the FL said to the ML, I laughed when she started to cry and plead once he had the upper hand. I don't have any interest left in the rest of the drama but will watch some epi to see WHX.

4 episodes in and it's the same usual trope. The FL is clearly not very smart even though she is supposed to be. The ML will let the FL suffer in the name of protecting her. This paper thin plot has to be dragged for 24 episodes, I'll now only watch Wang Xuan's scenes and quickly finish this off.
