This makes me so torn. At first, I was excited, but then reality set in. Americans are hit or miss with remakes, with shining examples like; The Office, Homeland, and Dancing With The Stars, up against abject failures like; Coupling, The X Factor, and the cringe-worthy Boys Before Friends. That said, I'm not sure how this can be remotely like the original, Korean and American sensibilities are seemingly worlds apart. Also, part of the reason I stopped watching American television, is that there is no guaranteed closure. If ABC isn't getting the numbers, the show will be dropped. This is exciting news though, who will they cast, how will they tailor it to American audiences?
