I wasn't a huge fan of Dou Xiao before... probaby because I'm not over Lin Geng Xin's death in the Princess Agents.. but maaaaan, in this drama, whenever he smiles, i feel like the world is revolving around him! HE LOOKS SOOOOOO CHARMING WHEN HE SMILES! It's so genuine and so adorable!! This drama plot is not new but I'm enjoying it and look forward each episode! Just wanted to say Dou Xiao is my new hubby bye.

I've watched all the dramas he was in... definitely LOVED him in HDL... i rly wanted him to end up with the female lead!!

It is a bit uncomfortable to look the young Dae Young and Da Jung kissing but they're still very cute to me! Probably because the actress looks way younger than her actual age so the age gap wasn't too obvious... and I think Lee Do Hyun is a really talented actor... he can still create chemistry and his acting is so good! Definitely stanning him!

i really wanted to see more of yunli and zhen huan probably getting together once after she came back to the palace... yunli getting married and actually getting another woman pregnant was a no-no for me... but it still made sense to me how the way things fold out... really feel bad for yunli's ending tho :((

Usually, 70+ episodes always get so draggy but this show is not draggy at all... always something is happening and keeps you wanting to watch more and more... i DEFINITELY recommend to those people who are hesitating for whatever reasons... be it the length, the cast, etc. JUST TRY IT!

the level of toxicity in this series is CRAZY... but it is also why I LOVE this show... all this tea and drama tht i won't get in reality is all these series... just waiting for everyone to expose Bew again lol

ironically, netflix made a movie about the legend and annoyed me so bad... hopefully this one is more "chinese"

I think both TGCF and The Broken Clouds are just rumors... I've heard nth relating to the Broken Clouds but did see some news on Weibo abt TGCF... i'd be happy if Cheng Yi does BL/bromance but doesn't matter if he doesn't... just hope we can get some assurance abt these rumors

Yes I totally agree.. however I think thats the harsh reality of the industry. Young handsome actors no matter how bad they are at acting, many female fans still go crazy over them. Being one of the those fans, I am embarrassed but I have to admit that I've tolerated a lot of cringy acting just because the guy was handsome. I guess that's just how it is these days.
