This is definitely one of Bai Lu’s best performances. Her acting is subtle and elegant, and her character feels like a real person you can believe in. She makes the role both realistic and mysterious, and she gives the character a distinct personality that really stands out.
Theres no problem with his acting at all, I see a lot of comments saying they sympathize with him/understand him…
well that scene he said he was going to jump, he never convinced me he meant it, did he mean it or not? when he said it, I thought oh brother, go ahead and jump, because the way he said, sounded like a kid having a tantrum.
A lot of viewers don't care for 2ML. I don't think it's the role, it's the acting. He's not convincing. If Lin Mu Ran played the 2ML, there would be more depth. But it's still early.
Anyone knows what sohu entertainment is to Xu Kai ? They’re the ones which publicized the result of one of the…
I’m just thinking this through. It seems likely that Bai Lu and Xu Kai can’t make any moves until their contracts officially expire. That would mean no negotiating future projects, no being approached by others, and no setting up a studio in advance.
If they want a clean, complication‑free exit, they probably have to stay put, finish every existing commitment, and wait it out.
“Today’s highest heat index was 27,205, but now it will decrease again 😩 It’s so hard to reach 30K. Hope…
The story is slower in the front to set the stage so as pace catches up the heat should rise. The director and screenwriter work well together. They’re saving the best for later. It will definitely break 28k. Over 28k is excellent
@baifan, I think you're right, to get more popularity, he shouldn't reject that genre. I would argue if he were…
I don't know anything about SOTB so I appreciate your insight into the character. I too hope Xu Kai continue to mix it up and do everything. I like to see him in all kinds of roles.
Wasn't that the first draft script writer who got offended her script wasn't used for the final version? And also…
the original scriptwriter said she spent an entire year, and the project was chosen as S or S+ whatever that is, based on her script but right before filming they trashed her work and hired a new writer the director has worked with before to start over with a new script. They literally changed everything, so she didn't' get any credits. So, she's mad and insinuating that it had to do with Bai Lu to make the drama a 30K hit for her, they needed to rewrite it, but of course, It's all about profits in the industry. Well, the director obviously didn't want her work but she' mad because the project Tencent selected her script and now she has no credits. Yu Zheng jumped to Bai Lu's defense. I think he did it for the director and screenwriter because he has close ties to them, he has collaborated with them in the past and want to keep good relationship. If the director feels that her script doesn't' fit the female lead, of course she has to make it work. Complaining and blaming the actress makes her look like a sore loser.
As novel reader… Drama deviates really a huge way from novel at the point you can’t trace next drama plot…
they trashed the original script right before filming and started over with a new writer and changed everything, that may explain why it's deviated a lot from the novel.
