HT is a realist and JX is an idealist. Over time, she will change.

basically, HT does not tell anyone everything, but JX needs him to tell her everything. I think that's basically her issue. He can separate emotions, but she cannot.

the JX in the drama is an improved version. The JX in the novel seems impetuous at times, esp. around ZD and HT.

Chp 66. This scene is super-hot, but it seems we already saw it, but nothing happened in the drama. In the drama, HT stands staring at the door regretting not going in. In the novel, Han Ting escort her to her room, and just a second before she could close the door, HT stops it and slides into the dark room and forces himself on her, but she said no, so he stopped. HT says to her, "What if I say, let's get back together?" She says her heart is not strong enough. HT says, "I won't ask it again, are you sure?"
Chp 70. HT says to JX, "I'm asking you; it's been half a year, do you still want to reconcile?"
JX gets kidnap.
Chp 72. After the kidnapping and rescue and HT got injured, HT wants to start over with JX and JX does too.

This is one drama, need great translation to catch the bantering, teasing, and sarcasm

I think he might be widower with a child. He's such a good friend of Han Ting so I know he's a good man, but he seems to have personal issues that I wonder how it will affect them?

I read some comment that XK's agency doesn't allocate budget to promote his character and the comment said something about this drama the production company had changed hands and so they also not promoting.

HT just stands staring at the door. He needs to start making a move. In the novel, he is quite the "playboy" I thought.

yes, I get you. I read parts of the novel. I recall Ji Xing said "I hate her" to HT. ZD plays dirty, is nasty and HT can see through her. He doesn't like it and tells her to stop it. She knows he doesn't like it, but she keeps doing it though. I recall in the novel, HT said to ZD that JX is more capable than her.

for me, I'm okay with her scenes. She's part of HT's past and whenever she shows up, it reveals something about HT's character traits. I think most of the ZD scenes are in the novel.

Actually, it makes sense. Li Li is a very unpretentious, down-to-earth, and loyal person who is independent and don't want to rely on a man.
