I love ALP. I'm so glad so many older Xu Kai dramas are available on You Tube. It's how I discovered Xu Kai. Sometimes I just have ALP on while I'm doing stuff in the kitchen. I love the music, the colors, the scenery, the CGI, it so relaxing to have it on. It's definitely my cup of tea. It reduces stress. There's something about it, it calms you. The sad parts make you sad but also you feel love is so beautiful. ALP is rich with meaning and makes you think and feel. Poignant. Timeless. Elegant. love the whole cast!

My first watch of ALP, I was confused as it was my first Chinese fantasy and Xianxia. But once I understood that world, the three realms, and Bai Jue's plans, I really got into it. It's a true masterpiece—like the way you appreciate a Monet painting, fine wine, or the grandeur of castles in Europe; layered and timeless.
