a nice drama though、 as I find with many long epic Chinese dramas it rather sags and loses its way in the middle and goes on hold before I go back and it picks up towards the end。 many of these long dramas would benefit from editing and shortening。
I'm confused in this drama why Qiu ambushed and shot Li Bing with an arrow in one episode and died avowing eternal friendship in a later episode, tearful as this was〜 I am sure they will find each other again in another life [without censors]🌈❤️
this drama is a very slick production like most k drama and no doubt keeps audience involvement but、 digging just beneath the surface exposes its complete lack of credibility it has so many plot holes and improbable coincidences and ironies and at least two huge blunders that undercut the whole premise of the judge's involvement: a judge would never be allowed to preside over a trial where the accused Sang Hyeok was previously indicted for raping his wife; incredibly we are also supposed to believe he presided over the actual trial of Sang Hyeok for raping his wife _ secondly if he and his son became suspects - as eventually they did - the police would soon find he had an alibi、 so the idea of covering for his son falls apart as we finally see only in episode 7 _ as to the ending、 if the judge and gangster were meeting in the afterlife to contemplate their lives it could be credible、 otherwise it is absurd、though the filming of natural scenery was wonderful。 so no doubt entertaining but very sloppy planning and writing 。
from first episode this is very slick production like most korean thrillers and very violent also like most korean thrillers、 too violent for me I think
I am on episode 4 of this drama and so far it hardly reflects a tag of gay romance as it seems mostly about two baka men playing at bl so one can catch a girl :just a stereotype using LGBT love for amusement、 and the other story about feelings of younger brother for older brother。maybe it will get better?
finally reached the end of this excellent drama very imaginative and inventive with good chemistry though、 for me the journey was better than the destination though the end was very affecting
yes something is definitely not right here、 this would feel boring without the presence of Ji Min Seo's character。two nice guys with feelings for someone depressive and confused and strangled by feelings from the past is not a particularly promising recipe for a drama。 what particularly disappoints is the homophobic attitude shown through Ji Hun's band friends.。this could have been cut to fewer episodes. I think、 though the ending is nice even if the kisses were not very convincing! ❤️🌈
I like this bl dorama very much but、I do not like the "please wait one year for me 〜one year later” trope、 it is appearing in too many romantic dramas and is a lazy dramatic device and belongs to US cinema of the mid twentieth century。so let's have more original imagination from scriptwriters please

a judge would never be allowed to preside over a trial where the accused Sang Hyeok was previously indicted for raping his wife; incredibly we are also supposed to believe he presided over the actual trial of Sang Hyeok for raping his wife _
secondly if he and his son became suspects - as eventually they did - the police would soon find he had an alibi、 so the idea of covering for his son falls apart as we finally see only in episode 7 _
as to the ending、 if the judge and gangster were meeting in the afterlife to contemplate their lives it could be credible、 otherwise it is absurd、though the filming of natural scenery was wonderful。
so no doubt entertaining but very sloppy planning and writing 。
why such low rating though?
