Started well but promised more than it delivered. Shows the problems states the moral lessons but not real solutions and descends into another action thriller with the standard k drama trope of corrupt politicians thrown in.
episode 5 is very disturbing but、 as usual this drama is better at presenting the problems than solutions。 the truth is you do not transform a narcissistic or sociopathic personality type like the malicious parent here by showing her a better way 。 some of the suggestions in the press conference sound good、 have these been implemented in South Korea I wonder?maybe they should add CCTV in the classroom and make it law that not every scolding or brief touch to stop injury is abuse。
entertaining fantasy、 it is a pity a k drama promising to be about serious issues and serious ways to solve them descends into the "gangster school” category。 we have the serious issues but no real solutions and、 as ever with k drama it becomes one more variation of the corrupt politics trope。
I was hoping for serious drama but this is fantasy obviously。but according to reports I have seen this breakdown in the korean school system with great disorder even attacking teachers is real、 so they need real discussion about how to solve this or they will have social collapse with no one becoming teachers and a majority of people not motivated to work or contribute to society。 I note the korean system seems to include all students based on where they live、 so students with different motivations abilities and so on are in one classroom or school。 from a social view it is very unfortunate the only selection is between the rich who can afford private schools and those who cannot。 this is similar to Japan but we have more disciplined society than korea I think、 so generally the system works。 for korea they somehow need to ensure poorer but motivated students with good academic or sports or technical skills go to schools suitable for them and are not held back by bad students。 maybe I suggest they reform the system according to ability by examination at middle school level to put them in these streams while the unmotivated or less academic go to less demanding schools。 maybe there is streaming in the current schools but this is no good as the problem students remain。the schools have to be separate。 maybe I will be shouted down but we have to look at real solutions not fantasy solutions with Superman solving everything with corporal punishment。 only ten schools out of hundreds also。corporal punishment only works on students already accepting the standards imposed 。 one message they get right in this. drama is if you want real change you need hard solutions。so selective education may be unpopular and hard but what are other solutions ?they have little time if a whole generation of children is ruined。 as for Koreans or others resentful that foreigners criticize their school system they should consider outside views that try to be helpful as they may be more objective about the problems than people actually in Korea。 in the end Koreans need to trade with non-Koreans for their economy to survive。
episode 1 was promising but episode 2 descends into bad example of trying to outdo the most dumb Japanese school gang genre。 no doubt there are bad schools run by gangs and bullies but anything approaching this outside of fantasy would be closed down。
This is entertaining fantasy。 when it started I hoped for serious drama but the idea of a one man anti-hero going round saving the korean education system is indeed fantasy。
この繊細な映画に深く感動したよう。若い男性が自身のセクシュアリティを受け入れ、 「これが僕だ」と周囲の人々に勇敢に告げるまでの葛藤が、リアルに描かれていた💖🌈 very sensitive movie does not suggest any easy answers or easy acceptance。 you must accept yourself first then if others do not accept you move on from them。 this is real。 maybe others will look at life differently themselves if they have open minds。 this movie was made in 2014 so time has moved on and there is some improvement but、 it is still quite difficult in Japan and most other Asian countries compared with Western countries or Taiwan if you are LGBTQ living outside of big cities and suffer prejudice or fear but maybe this is same everywhere with people of closed minds。 I must add for me it has always seemed ironic homophobia only emerged in Japan and China with Western intrusion and imposing foreign ideas of morality after 1850s。before then homosexuality was accepted for two thousand years as normal part of life。
you could say such students should be left to rot but it spoils it for good students and more important society will break down when a whole generation are too irresponsible to keep society functioning and it will break down
I especially hate men who abuse women and really anyone abusing any defenseless person woman or man or even animal what does this movie. contribute to stop that?
Not much of a story here but、 very sweet portrait of love with plenty of physicality( at least above the waist) as Taiwan is ahead of most countries in LGBTQ+ 💖🌈

unoriginal tropes nasty and with no redeeming features except Yeri
moving conclusion.
