12 episodes was fine for this story. The main draw for these kinds of plots is seeing how the initial "lie" is dealt with, how the character has to maneuver themselves out of trouble, etc. And then after the secret is revealed/character gets caught, how the main couple eventually admit their true feelings to each other. Business Proposal settled both parts pretty early on and the final episodes were simply about the two couples enjoying their relationships. Which usually is saved for the finale since the conflict is usually over by then.

"Secret Life of My Secretary" - Kinda similar storyline and both the main couples are great in tthe drama as well, just like here on Business Proposal. A thoroughly stress-free, wholesome and sweet romcom. With some nice emotional and deeper moments thrown in too.

I love I'm Not a Robot and Strongest Deliveryman. Coming from A Piece of Your Mind, you get to see her versatility with those two series. She can really do drama and comedy and romance so well.

Her role in Rookie Cops is probably the least interesting character she's played so far. She was fine in it, but especially after a string of such strong, dynamic roles and performances, Rookie Cops was like a step back.

Sometimes it felt like 2 different shows.

Nikki Co is the standout! What a surprisingly great performance by him.

It was a cute drama. Nothing groundbreaking. I feel the romance is a bit forced. Though Jung In Sun always delivers in each of her roles. The most interesting part of the show was showing the drama between friends in an idol band. They ticked off the boxes, but the characters helped make you care.

Looking forward to his next project! He definitely deserves more lead roles!

And you don't even have to apply the themes to just religion, but even the cult of personality with celebrities and even politicians. There's some pretty universal ideas here I think.

This was actually an amazing drama. A "makjang" at its best. Definitely lots of soapy drama. But the characters are really well-written. And you will cry by the final episode. Wonderful performances. Chae Si Ra, Ju Ji Hoon and Ji Chang Wook were just incredible. Chae Si Ra especially.

Absolutely agree about taking your time with it. There's a lot of nuance and detail I think you can miss if you just binge through it.

My favorite part of the series is that it knew how to maintain its tone. More often than not, some high-concept drama heavy on action like to insert contrived comic relief or fluffy romance where it does not belong at all. Even if there is a fantasy element, this series was more on the darker and more dramatic side. And they maintained that throughout and I think it helped a lot and ultimately made the series much better than it would have been otherwise.

Having just finished School 2021 and then All of Us Are Dead, I am so impressed by Jo Yi Hyun, Two opposite characters, but she was excellent with both.

The love interest is the teacher Baek Na Hee who he likes while he's still in high school. But they don't start a relationship until years later.

He does, but they don't necessarily get much focus.

First watched him in the excellent Everything and Nothing. So happy to see him get a lead role in All of Us Are Dead and he was so good. I think the best performance of the series. Looking forward to him getting bigger and better roles in the future!
