The lesson here is: Don't hook up with the sketchy lady you literally pick up on the street and offers you alcohol and hard drugs. No matter how horned up you might be lol

The biggest plot hole in this drama is what happens right at the end. NO ONE would confess like that when someone…
That was indeed very sudden. But I think the focus of the show wasn't necessarily finding out who did it, but just a look at the justice system, social politics inside prison, character drama, etc.

It was a fun, fluffy series. There were definitely a few annoyingly over-the-top moments. And the focus on unnecessary side characters was most annoying. Especially when the four leads were enough to be able to carry the show. Endearing characters and a charming cast.

Having seen him in At a Distance Spring is Green and My Roommate is a Gumiho, he plays such different characters. But is so effective and effortless in both. So good! Definitely looking forward to him in more lead roles in the future.

My favorite part of the series was the friendship between Dam, Jae Jin and Soo Kyung. Especially Dam and Jae Jin. It's refreshing to see a real, sincere platonic friendship between a guy and a girl in a drama without a contrived romance angle to the relationship.

He is such a versatile actor. He's had some great, diverse roles so far. Definitely deserves a lead role soon.

I loved Racket Boys. So this show being more badminton AND with some good ol' fashioned (more grown up) romance, this is definitely a show to look forward to! Especially with these two great leads as well.

My first impression from the title is that this will be more of a slowburn-type of romantic drama with a good helping of inspiring, heartwarming sports moments. And I'm here for it! But I'd be fine with a lighter series as well. I think both Chae Jong Hyeop and Park Ju Hyun can do both comedy and drama/

Dramas with time travel plots are either hit or miss. There is no in-between. This show was a miss. I haven't seen a more expensive-looking show with such an unnecessarily convoluted and unfocused plot than this one.

I wonder if the writer/director even went to film school. I have seen rookie writers/directors do a better job…
The creator/director is the same man behind Train to Busan, so safe to say he knows what he's doing.

I think people are confusing The New Truth (the organized cult-like religion) with the Arrowhead, the rogue vigilante group composed of presumably New Truth followers/acolytes. They work hand in hand, but are separate entities, yes?

Is this drama promoting atheism?
One interesting thing about this drama is that it will appear to lean one way with regards to religion and faith, then completely flip in the other direction and then lean back the other way and it repeats until the end. Essentially, not favoring or condemning anything, but leaving it up to you to interpret the good and bad that is depicted.

I am so happy that Dali is not some pushover or damsel in distress. It is quite refreshing as she is an atypical character, especially compared to other dramas from the last year. She can be quiet or reserved, but she definitely won't be pushed around.

Both, FL and ML were refreshing characters which are rarely seen. Shy introvert girl with steel backbone and passion…
I feel the same way. It's so weird, but very welcome to see two characters that are different and refreshing from the norm we see in K-dramas.

The way people here fault a character putting themselves at the top of their priority list and then cheering when a different character is told they should put themselves at the top of their priority list. lol

Person Jang Na Ra
Has Jang Nara had other roles like in Sell Your Haunted House? Where she's more of a badass and stuff. Because all the dramas I've watched of her have been romcoms or lighter dramas? (Which she of course has excelled at.) I don't think I've ever watched her play a character like Ji Ah before and I love her there so much.

Review Squid Game
This is one of the most fair reviews. I think the arrival of the VIPs was horribly executed and took time away from the main characters. And the series misses opportunities, especially in the final episodes, to truly go deeper into each character's story. In the end, the show focused more on the spectacle of the games rather than what it was doing so well with in the beginning.

I don't get why people think show is predictable, when the show intentionally foreshadows and hints everything.…
Being predictable is fine. But the show actually did not have enough depth with the characters, tbh. The show was more focused on the gory spectacle instead of balancing the flashy scenes with legitimate character-driven story.

I read in many places from people who read the webtoon that the BL plot is not between the male leads actually…
Yes, but my understanding is Soo Hyun and Joon's brother are the ones in a relationship.
