Can someone tell me the ending please? i won't watch the rest, sounds too heavy for me
The female lead dies while saving her little brother from the soldiers. Sadly, her body is not found until it gets dug up at a construction site in 2021.
Really a breathtaking series. A beautiful, heartbreaking look at one of Korea's darkest periods with great characters and an amazing cast. Baeksang 2022 gonna come calling for Youth of May.
I really only cared about Chan Young's story. The idea of feeling like a "replacement"/"stand-in" and inadequate is a very relatable feeling and I thought his character got the most actual development through the course of the series. Lee Seo Won was also great in the role. Everything else was just meh and romance angle was very flat.
It was an okay drama. 8 eps is perfect for it. But I was honestly more interested in the secondary couple Woo Jae/Jae Yi than the main couple and whole mystery about her past. Also Byungchan was a scene stealer was Yoo Shin. But otherwise, an overly familiar story with nothing really new to offer.
Can someone explain how Ae Gyo lived as Su Ryeon? Or what that situation is supposed to be? I don't get it. SR has always been with DT since he took her back to Korea. So when has AG supposed to have lived as SR? Some dialogue makes it seem like AG has lived as SR for years.
Yukjo is such an irrelevant character. And the fact that...
Sun Oh has to ~settle~ for her in the end after coming to terms with Jojo choosing Hye Young when not once did he show that he has any feelings for her is the worst thing they did to his character. And it also says a lot about her how she essentially stuck to him like a leech when she knew he didn't like her.
I hopped on the bandwagon and binged the first season. And I cannot believe I have to wait 24 more episodes just to finally see these horrible people get what they deserve! lolol Torture!
He is one of the most versatile young actors today! He's already played so many different characters both as a lead and in supporting roles (where he was able to shine as well). Excited to see what projects he has lined up in the future!
Umm... no. And if that actually were the case (which it is not), then there's something very twisted in Korean society.
