Looking at the 7.6 rating my expectations were low but actually it was a decent drama. The story was interesting, the acting was good. Yes, there were some scenes where I rolled my eyes but overall It was fine. I liked Kim Ji Eun's acting in this one.
The drama started well. Some later episodes were also fun. The main issue with this drama is the lack of 2FL (2nd…
Around episode 70-75 you should realise that it's almost impossible for this drama to have a happy ending for both Male Leads. By that point FL has way more chemistry with the 2ML. Her relationship with the 1ML (No Min Hyuk) was good only when he behaved like a child and it was kind of forced. So it would be very weird to end the relationship with 2ML and start one with 1ML for any reason.
After watching episode 75 I thought that the only way to solve this weird triangle is that one of the Male Leads has to die. I also thought that maybe by the end it would be revealed that the 2ML was actually an alien that needs to return to the Potato Star and leave the galaxy. I think that kind of ending would be more acceptable ending than the actual one π
After reading some comments I was expecting the ending to be shockingly bad but it wasn't. Instead it felt like there should be around 80 episodes more in this drama and that it was cancelled for some reason.

For anyone who watched this from the beginning to the end, were the first DNA results changed by Director Oh and…
The results were not changed by Director Oh.
Test results are presented in episode 18. In episode 21 we see Director Oh's team saying that Hong Hye Sung is the real son. They are afraid of loosing control over him if the family members repeat the test and he's going to find out that the result is positive.
However there is a plot twist about the DNA test results in episode 120...
! SPOILER for episode 120 below:
In episode 120 the family members repeat the DNA test and it turns out that the result is negative - Hong Hye Sung is not the real son. It is said to be an unknown error unexplainable by science π
The story is disappointing (especially the Main Character's final choice - although some may argue that it's coherent with his past actions) but it is very well executed in terms of pacing, camera work, acting and so on.
Now I want to split into two people. The one that remembers watching this movie can die. The other one can keep living.
The concept was interesting but I think it could be written and executed better.
I didn't like the scenes where FL hits the ML or other people and we hear comedic music - was beating people supposed to be funny? Are we promoting bullying now? It felt uncomfortable to watch. I also didn't like the last episode. It felt too childish.
The story was good but around ep 65 it started dragging and ML's constant sacrifice became exhausting to watch. All characters were just talking about the same things all over again. I couldn't count how many times Lawyer Lee tells the FL that she's gonna be his and she denies it π
Episodes 90-100 were just filled with talking and had just one significant action that happened at the end of each episode (as a cliffhanger). Last 33 episodes were okay (sometimes too predictable but okay).
I watched it because of Kang So Ra and was not disappointed - she acted well, and looked very nice.
Same the games were sometimes fun but most of the time boring still enjoyable though. Throughout the entire drama…
Yes, "cheating" may be an overexaggeration, but honestly it felt like that at some moments. She said "sorry" to her husband and went to borderland with another dude that she trusted completely with her life. Then she decisively protects the dude when they meet her husband. Her husband trusts her completely and doesn't even confront her about it - which BTW is a mistake.
I think memory loss, marriage and pregnancy should be the factors to make a character like Usagi even stronger - not weaker.

Yeah, Ryuji was creepy but he was just a single season antagonist, so I didn't care.
The real damage has been done to Usagi - she transformed from a strong character into a suicidal one. Some could argue that she also kind of cheated on Arisu - taking into account that hugging somebody is reserved for very close relationships in Japanese culture. For me her dynamic with Ryuji was uncomfortable to watch throughout the whole season.
The possible futures were a good idea for distraction and a way to manipulate the contestants... and also a cheap way to drag the drama π
Nice drama with strong women characters. For the most part the pacing is also very good.
Romance wise I was surprised that it got even more interesting after the leads got together which is rare (usually that's where most of the dramas become boring).
However the last few episodes still felt weak in terms of writing. I also agree with most of NAY's review, especially the part about Villains.

The games were okay but I found myself fast forwarding through them a lot.

When your girlfriend is acting crazy get her a jar filled with 100 years old kimchi.
