Also, the jerk who hits on the FL suddenly becomes the ML’s friend out of nowhere. I didn’t understand how this friendship developed or why it would prevent the ML from getting a heart transplant from him.
And there's that weird church scene.
I also didn't like the concept of children acting like adults. Yes, children play such games, but they are just games - not serious commitments.

Most of the story is about the hardworking FL and the importance of the proofreading job. The romance exists, but it’s very weak. I honestly think the FL had more chemistry with the Octopus than with the ML 😉

Yes, she was pregnant. We don't know what happened. I guess Li Yan (or rather Liang Wen Chao as he possessed her body in the end) is not pregnant anymore while in jail (as his wife gave birth already) so we just need to accept that we don't know.
