Idk why this series has low rating and lots of negativity in the comments. Yes the FL is literal pos and that's…
Tbh the negativity is getting less. I see more and more positive comments since the main plot is finally unfolding. Hope the rating will also raise soon and that the drama will receive much more love from the viewers.
okay I see that souls switched but how did I miss a scene where this is trigger or willit be explained in future…
They will explain it for sure later on. One thing I noticed was how the FL complained days before the switch about her growing headache like some kind of foreshadowing. Maybe it has also something to do with her tormenting past and her anxiety regarding darkness? Also before the kiss both were talking in many scenes about souls and how they offer or bet on their soul
I actually like Vivian Sung. Just watched the movie because of her. The beginning was interesting especially when he was courting her. After that it was just disappointing...
The humour is so vulgar but they didn't even kiss. Though there is a love story it is not really romantic, at least I didn't care much about the leads.
Not recommended. Even though it is a bit more conservative than Western movies I wouldn't watch it with family because of the offensive language.
Wish they would just release two longer episodes every week instead of four short ones. It is hard to immerse in the story if the episodes are just 30 min long. Feels like somone gives you candy and before the first bite they take it away. 😭
Exactly my thinking...Why are you torturing yourself if the drama is that bad? Somehow I am really protective…
Ok this was a bit misleading. Both are good looking people, especially Lomon who seems to be getting attractive with age (I didn't notice his looks that much in all of us are dead, but he looks stunning in black suit). What I mean is that they are not that famous when it comes to looks like Kim Soo Hyun or Park Hyung Sik. Whatever, I am really delighted about the positivity in this thread and that some people do appreciate this drama 😌

I also don't get the hate. Maybe because the budget is clearly low. There are no Idols, donned up actors with extravagant clothes, no amazing SFX, lighting or picture quality. And even though both are attractive they are not not known for their gorgeous looks. On top of that it is noona romance and not the ML is the one with the sick dark persona.
I could care less about the negativity and just enjoy the drama (really like it so far, in particular the FL!) but it makes me sad that the bad rating might demotivate the actors who were so pumped up for the upcoming drama in some interviews. Especially a young actor like Lomon.
I hope you give it another shot one day. Sometimes all of the information can be overwhelming in the first episode,…
Thank you so much for your lengthy reply! Really appreciated! Good to know that you also skipped the first couple of episodes but still understood everything! After your reply I am even more curios about the ML. Now I am ready to rewatch this one 😊
Can’t say I’ve seen that show, but I will say you are 100% right about the last thing you said. If you do…
Exactly... MDL users are really unforgiving when is comes to plot, pace and acting as long as their favorite Idol/Actor is not included. Wish they would also be that strict with KDramas. Like all Japanese dramas are usually rated below 8 while even the most avergae KDrama is above. The rating on this site is not reliable.
Thanks for the info because of the 9.2 rating, will keep this in mind when I am going to watch this.
I rarely comment but I don't really understand the ratings on MDL nor the negativity in the comments (at least…
Exactly my thinking...Why are you torturing yourself if the drama is that bad? Somehow I am really protective of this drama even though I am neither a fan of the FL nor of the ML. It just irks me how unforgiving some users are as soon as famous Idols/Actors are not inculded. Suddenly pace, acting and plot do matter.
Wow. They both know how to kiss on-screen.Majority of K-drama kissing scenes were either “too shy” or “too…
I love your detailed analysis of that kiss!! So on point. I was also shocked a bit about that scene (such kissing scenes I only know from taiwanese dramas). He appeared as such an innocent puppy but as soon as he entered the shoe factory with his self-confident appearance we all knew he was up to something - apparently seducing his Sunbae 🔥
What I also loved about this scene was how he checked out her reaction as soon as their lips brushed. He waited for her answer and oh my - she didn't make him wait too long!!
I like it that the screen writers put the daughter of the commander in - she is pretty and maybe according to age more suitable for the Captain (I am sure men at that time usually married women who were much younger). But nevertheless he is so awkward in front of her.
It is a striking contrast to his behaviour around Yeo Hwa who is seven years older than him. The age gap between him and his Madam is hardly noticeable since the Captain is quite mature due to his past experiences. Both complement each other but are also quite similar in many aspects. Like both are on par when it comes to sexual experiences (I doubt that Su Ho has ever kissed any woman or even being in love before). It makes their bond really special and I must say quite erotic 🔥 Seldom I have seen a pairing in Dramaland before which was just so so perfect. 👏
Why is this drama has only 12 episodes and not 14 or 16 episodes? It is so so good, and I just kept wanting to…
I think this is the reason why it is so good ... Usually the most dramas with 16 episodes are filled with fillers and unnecessary conflicts and misunderstandings as soon as the leads come together or share their first kiss (usually around ep 9 or 10).
No there is no Triangle. There is a third party but so far this person is not romantically involved. And I doubt this will change for the next last episodes. The mutual feelings between ML and FL are quite clear.
The synopsis reminds me strongly of Marcus Chang's "Back to 1989". It was a real masterpiece for me and I cried buckets. One of my personal hidden gems in East Asian Cinema.
Not sure if I should watch this one - usually I have been disappointed so far from KDramas with high ratings (like AoS, IOTBNO, CLOY etc.). MDL users are much more generous with rating when it comes to KDramas.
My only complain so far would be the really short eps... it doesn't make much sense since it isn't even pure comedy.
After rewatching ep 4 ( and its hottt ending!) so many times I am really looking forward for today's episode.
I really like it that the FL is the one with the dark personality (usually it is the other way around and the viewers would gush over the ML no matter how fk he would be. But the FL must be apparently always the one with the shining personality who would save the ML from his tormented past, never the other way around 🙄).
