LMAO that whole paragraph about crack! So true especially during that Tae Hang Ho's training/evolving into Choi Jin Hyuk scene and Empress Dowager bath scene (wtf?) The villains were more amusing to watch than the good characters (except for Mr. Byun he was badass and underused character) Na Wang Sik did feel sort of dull but I guess he doesn't have the time to show his personality since he's always working as a bodyguard?? I was addicted to it too, until the last 40-something eps felt like a drag and I'm still raging about that finale with Na Wang Sik...
Ok, I have more to say, I'm sorry, but not sorry:1. People who ship Sunny and the Emperor...What is wrong with…
IKR the way they killed off NWS so pathetically like that and no one mourning over him was the worst k-drama ending ever. I don't even care about the romance, his revenge was the main reason why I even watched this drama! WTF was the writer thinking... Can someone please make a petition for them to re-film the final episodes with CJH in it?
ok so you know how i was pissed about the na wangshik thing at the end? the epilogue makes me even angrier. why…
Was it even written by the same writer? It felt like some Lee Hyuk fangirl's fanfiction. I didn't even care about the romance at all, it just pissed me off the way he was killed off/no one even gave a damn about NWS in the end. The car chase/being tied up thing made no sense to me, he's supposed to be badass but got taken down by some random schmucks added to the story last minute? Wtf is this shit? Why is there no proper conclusion for NWS (he's the main reason why this drama even started?) This feels like an insult to CJH fans...
am I the only one who thought Mr Byun actually looked cooler before he got a haircut and dressed modern? lol I felt sorta bad for Soo Jin but she just got annoying near the end when she couldn't accept being rejected and kept whining about it. Her excitement over Woo Bin when he was trying on different clothes was like my inner fangirl haha he looked handsome in those outfits! I would've loved for Lee Hyuk/Wang Sik to dance with each other in that double date episode xD even though I hate the Emperor I have to admit I laugh at his scenes. I loved that ep when the 3 of them teamed up together against the Empress dowager, I wish they all could've been good friends if they weren't enemies :(
well finally finished it now. It was addicting but the drama was sort of disappointing on the revenge part. I…
I was really addicted to this drama until the last 40-something episodes I just wanted those villains to be done with already. I wanted more of a final showdown between the main 2 guys but they focused too much on Kang Hee/empress dowager. I know the drama had to show all that palace corruption stuff but the main reason we even had this drama was because of NWS revenge plot and it wasn't satisfying enough for me. All that suspense/build up for LH just to fall from a cliff and that's it? I wish they could've had more of an emotional showdown, showing all their bromance memories and they end up forgiving each other/teaming up against the other villains. But that's just my wishful thinking 'cause I loved LH's gayness for NWS than the actual romance lmao
The way NWS got killed off felt forced/stupid to me, since he's supposed to be badass throughout the whole drama - those stunt double scenes were so bad/cringy! No proper/emotional conclusion for the main character smh it's like a LH fan girl took over the script for the last 4 eps. They should've made this 52 episodes in the first place. I wish for them to re-film the last 4 episodes with CJH in it but I highly doubt it.
other things I wondered about: - Where/when did Sunny get the footage of NWS' mom's murder? - What was the point of the grandma's suicide? No one even killed her and other stuff could've been avoided (like Ms Ha's death) who put the letter in the box? - MYR felt like 2 different characters in the beginning and second half with her sap story, it made her seem like she was just a gold digger at first, and not good enough reason to hate her own son so much to the point of shipping him out of the country? - well LH how do you expect that guy to get better when he's locked up in a creepy mental hospital with no social interaction or anything to do in there? - would SJ still be in love with NWS if he went back to his fat self? lmfao
well finally finished it now. It was addicting but the drama was sort of disappointing on the revenge part. I was baffled about the last 4 eps. I don't feel like typing anymore right now (I'll just copy/paste what I said on the drama's page)

The way NWS got killed off felt forced/stupid to me, since he's supposed to be badass throughout the whole drama but got chased down by some random scrubs added to the story last minute? Those stunt double scenes in the room were so bad/cringy! No proper/emotional conclusion for the main character smh it's like a LH fan girl took over the script for the last 4 eps. Why Sunny never thought of him in the end when he's saved her life so many times now and wouldn't have gotten this far without his/others' help! Worst ending ever for a male lead, such an insult to CJH fans! They should've made this 52 episodes/pre-produced in the first place. I wish for them to re-film the last 4 episodes with CJH in it but I highly doubt it.

Wow, they literally just wrote off Wang Shik just like that and no one actually gave a shit about him in the end.…
agreed! I'm also mad about the end. At least record his voice for a final monologue/speech to conclude the series if you can't show his face. All that bs he went through and died so anti-climatically. It didn't make sense to me he could survive other shit but got chased down and tied up when he's supposed to be badass?? No one even showed up at his grave or mentioned him in the ending, even Soo Jin forgot about "Bin". His revenge story was why I was interested in the drama (never really cared about the romance) what a waste of an awesome drama with shitty conclusion for the character - he was the main reason why we even had the drama in the first place. I think one of the reasons why Lee Hyuk liked her maybe because she was like a mother figure for him (shown in a few scenes) but he just felt possessive to me like he can't have someone else taking his woman. oh and they made some cringy alternative ending for Sunny/Lee Hyuk. smh I never shipped them, the guy's split personality was just creepy (even though I did laugh at his comedic scenes) like after he fell from the cliff and the next morning he asks for instant coffee LOL wtf. I wish they could re-film an alternative ending for Wang Shik instead
Only on Ep 20, but came here to say this drama has successfully created the most annoying child character on Earth...…
yes she was really annoying for half the drama but I started to like her after Sunny taught her to be a better person. I loved it when Ari stood up to Min Yu Ra!
Good catch on the last question, crystalstars! That's all on me, since I added that probably hours before it got…
yay glad you like it! It's my second fave drama this year next to The Last Empress. I find it underrated/more entertaining than those other rom coms airing right now...
I've watched none of these, where do I even begin?
I didn't watch any of those either. I don't watch medical dramas unless the drama is half medical theme (like Blood or Priest), am scared to watch operation scenes LOL
That Goblin/Lee Jong Suk reference LOL and zombie Kim Bo Mi... this drama just gets better every time! ep 20 that cliffhanger ending... the only other airing drama I find funny right now is Legal High (Korean remake) - wasn't really a fan of it at first but the male lead is amusing to watch xD
