I've watched half of the eps and am still not obsessed with it like everyone else ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like plenty of those genres listed up there but maybe I am just not really hooked to this story. I'm still watching this drama at ep 12 but the second half of this episode got more exciting. For some reason I haven't enjoyed that many 2019-2020 k-dramas compared to previous few years. The only hyped drama this year I actually liked from start to end was The World of the Married..
there are only 4 episodes left. noooooo. I feel empty without this drama. Its been a while since a kdrama made…
I feel exactly the same.. I could watch a 100 ep drama of this and not get bored! but at least I am currently addicted to CJH's older drama Gu Family Book even though he doesn't have that much screentime, it gives me that old K-drama feeling that I miss with newer dramas nowadays. I didn't really care about the romance here tbh since they felt more like friends and I'm still bias for my fave couple Ma Sung/Gi Beum in Devilish Joy <3
PJH is really good in this drama. Is she good in Zombie detective?? ?Anyone watching it??
some people find her character annoying in the beginning episodes but she's ok so far.. I am watching it mainly for Choi Jin Hyuk, he is so fun to watch so I'm sad that the show is ending next week (last 4 episodes)
I originally watched this for CJH but the rest of the cast grew on me, and the instrumental BGM is great! I've only watched half of this drama now but it is addicting, can't believe I missed out on this drama for so long. And there are some good quotes in this drama but I didn't keep track of them.. Some people might think the parents' story is more interesting, I agree but they fell in love too fast so their love story seems shallow compared to Kang Chi/Yeo Wool's which has more screentime to develop and their tragedy could've been avoided if he told her what he really was but she falls in love with him anyway so she wouldn't betray him.
the ending song "Breathe Me" keeps playing so much that I finally start to like it lmao I like the piano/guitar parts. I really like Seo Joon's loyalty/dedication for Yoo Jung, like when he told Yoo Ra off (that was great, more guys should be like that) I feel like he and Tae Poong could be good friends/allies but I hope they don't become enemies later since he's the son of TP's enemy.
Woo Do Hwan looks good as a villain xD Park Seo Joon fighting in the building with all those lights/glass near the end of the movie reminds me of John Wick??
rightt that's so long, i can barely finish dramas that are 50 eps long...
It all depends on the show, I can barely finish a 12 episode slice of life drama but be addicted to a 50-100 episode makjang drama lol It took me 2 weeks to finish a 50+ ep drama like East of Eden and The Untamed.
I'm watching this show, and they seem to be doing everything right but I am somehow not enjoying it? Like this…
same here, maybe they're lacking something original that sets it apart from other fantasy dramas? The first 2 eps felt like it was trying to imitate some other popular dramas and there isn't any memorable background music in this drama yet.
Does this drama remind anyone of baf love. Similarities - Male character whose mind is altered in some way but…
haven't watched Bad Love but this drama also reminded me of Come! Jang Bo Ri, the villain Min Jung is similar to Yoo Ra (grew up poor, greedy for money/status) and the FL Bo Ri raises Min Jung's daughter who she abandoned so she can be with a rich guy. Makjang dramas usually have similar tropes/characters, like with Golden Garden which had a hit and run incident in the middle of the road or The Last Empress, ML getting revenge for his mom's death
the leads reminds me of inuyasha and kagome of you know what I mean ? same plot with a human and half human going…
yep and also Kang Chi's bracelet is kinda similar to Inuyasha's necklace too, both are used to control the MLs. Kagome also does archery like Yeo Wool. There's that new sequel airing right now with their/Sesshoumaru's daughters but I'm waiting for an English dub since I grew up watching that on TV long time ago

LDW & Kim Bum's fight scenes look cool (°∀°)

he was creepy from the beginning episodes ugh

Ep 4 gives me Along with the Gods vibe with that underworld setting...
