Chill bro, only 2 eps are out, how are u already comparing it to other completed shows? The novel has a very deep plot with an insane plot twist in the end. They have a lot of potential in that aspect.
Zhen xin and zhang zhun (actors) are book characters who's book gao zhun and fang chi (patient and doctor) are reading. (I think there were more extra chapters that explained this well but its only in physical copy of the book) Edit: I did some research and Both pairs are "real" people in that world. The story of FC/GZ is written into a book and then acted out in a movie by ZZ and ZX. At the end of an extra, the two pairs also met up.
Oh he wants that cookie SO fckin bad. Zhang zhun being on top of zhen xin is one of my fav scenes from the novel. It was incredibly detailed and full of tension so i didn't know if they were gonna film it but woah im impressed 🫢🫰
