Very Informational!

First things first…the ending informational snippets are so cute and very helpful…it’s soo good that the entire cast were involved in those.
Now coming to the drama aspect
Story: To say the truth it’s nothing new…it’s just showing from a different angle…2 best friends with shared dreams…and something happens to one and other tries to find out what happened and how he disappeared and never giving up on their dreams…and of course the 2nd dude would play the noble idiocity card…didn’t want to involve the 1st to not hurt, completely ignoring the 1st’s feelings and demons he is facing. I’m glad the 1st has a cute little friend(3rd) by his side who helps him a lot professionally and Emotionally. Of the 3rd is a lil naive and often gets the other w in trouble.
Keeping the cons aside I loved the dynamics b/w 1st and 3rd more than 1st and 2nd. Kudos to actors.
Acting: Qin hui: the main musketeer of the 3. The attacker in hacking..ahem cyber world…the one trying to live up to his dream/cleaning the system from cyber attacks. The actor beautifully conveyed the feelings and inner conflicts the character has to project. Making me love his character a loot. The dedicated musketeer till the end. Kudos to the actor.
Zhou yu: the cutest and dumb character I’ve ever faced. The young prodigy.Can’t move on from his character. All the time I found myself hoping he would stop spilling the secrets out. That is understandable coz he’s still new to the dark cyber world. Always eager to learn and show off which I find very cute…even his jealousy seemed cute. I’m biased I guess..he he
Chen mo: the dark knight…the defense knight…I loved his dedication to find the band that conned his mother, as much as going abroad and working as garbage collected to do so…don’t like his character as much as other two but every thing fell into place once the 3 come together
Others: the original company team, 4 of them qin hui], zhou you, tang, ding are love love love….one perfect happy family… mu tong is not needed at all for the drama… I guess they need to have screen time for Chen mo…remaining did their job ok ok…not much to complain…
Overall: it’s ok for 1 time watch… maybe I would rewatch qin hui and zhou yu scenes or the office dynamic scenes…but not all.

Cliche!!!

Surprised that there haven’t been a review yet so decided to leave one.
Characters
ML; One of the few ML who behaves respectfully towards the FL, after being used to so many kiss slap or bother/bully her coz he likes her kind of lardons this is refreshing. Very cool and collected character. But still has the worst characteristic, noble idiocity. He is protecting her and her family at the cost of hurting the person he loves the most. He can still protect her by being honest with her, if she doesn’t believe him he can just prove it to her. She gave him so many chances. And he just chose to ignore it, even thought he sees her struggling thinking he is betraying her. After all that, not even a freaking apology, she had it figured and understood his actions and bent down for him.
FL; strong lady, can stand on her own feet. She has her priorities straight. She is willing to give chances for her love. At end she understood her heart and bent down in understanding him and conveyed her feelings. Even after that she deserved a freaking apology that she never got directly. Glad to see a strong FL.
Sfl nd sml: cute. My fav character sfl. Breath of fresh air
Story; same old cliche story. Went downhill after the ml identity reveal.
I would say skip it.

All the characters are so fing frustrating. Mainly the ML…
Characters;
ML; he is just a no no no…claiming to love love love but always making the girl insecure….every one in her shoes would feel the same.she wanted him be to truthful with issues concerning both of them, but he always hides everything. He just tries to convince her just saying sweet words.god he is just the worst ML I’ve ever came across. And never a fing apology I’ve here’d from his mouth. Overconfident that she will always get back with him at the end, which the foolish girl does. I think he deserves all the pain the world. So arrogant and manipulative..the drama projecting him so smart and independent but why must he depend on the boys mom in Japan. Why did he leave to Japan in the 1st place without letting her know…why no contact for 5 years?just come back after all the time and claiming her back will be the solution? Want to write soo much more but it’s a waste..
FL; she is not perfect, but I understand where she use coming from, with the trust issues. If someone faces such ML I’m sure they would behave the same. So much I’ve hoped she would reject him and say ‘Enough’.
Sml and sfl; they are cute, didn’t like both of them but at least hey don’t have manipulations going on between them. Jeremy is eye candy of course! Both are so irritating in the beginning but they eventually came around and became the saving factor for this stupid drama…wish their story arc was utilized in a drama with better main story…
But have to admit though the friendship is very good…but can’t overlook the stupid things because of it!!!

Both are beautiful together, dynamic duo

Very intense drama. Became my most favorite larkon. Definitely something we can binge-watch
Not the typical story of Stockholm syndrome, Spend more time together eventually falling in love. Has soo much depth.
FL: Very independent and daring character. Stood up herself most of the time and definitely not a damsel in distress. Starting off with hating ML coz she thinks her sister died coz of him and gradually understanding him, trusting him and eventually falling in love with him. Loved how she projected her conflicted feelings, coz she can't help herself loving the ML even though she thinks she shouldn't and deep down she believes he is a good person.
ML: Ex shooter, strong ML. Even though he is not at fault had to go through soo much shit in life just coz he is unlucky. Everything a ML should be: strong, protective, loving, kind, bad-ass etc.
Chemistry: FIRE!! the progress/process is very lovely to watch. Felt believable. Didn't even feel the age gap. they are 14 years apart, can you believe that??
Acting: The ML's nailed it! they were soo cute together. Aum was so beautiful portraying the arrogant but caring businesswoman. And MIK, do I even need to tell anything abt him? no right? .thought so
The villains are good all over. Trying to project rawin as the main villain and him turning out to be a coward is a good twist
Not one boring moment overall. Wanted to write a huge review but don't want to spoil more than I already did
Definitely, a rewatch worthy drama. Talking from experience, watched it at least 3 times.

Cant take this noble idiocy anymore than this!!!

I wish the main characters not keep doing things that will hurt their loved ones.
It is understandable that the ML wants to sacrifice himself for the FL but not at cost of the pain of his loved one.
It's almost like he didn't trust her enough to tell all of that, they could've faced this together. She even showed that she would die with him rather than live without him. Some may argue that's y he didn't tell her and had to make her hate him, but I disagree. How can he forget the latter part that she won't be able to continue her life without him? How can he make decisions for her?
Agree she did tbe some in the beginning, so he understands the pain involved in it. More the reason he shouldnt be doing it.
And parental negligence? Sure he disguised as someone to see his son but the son feeling abandoned by his father for a long time is so not ok.
Sometimes living without the soulmate is not actually living, worse thinking he never loved her and betrayed her. That is more painful than death itself. After he dies is she actually living? what's the use of such life? How could they miss this small logic?
She went through soo much pain that I couldn't myself even as an onlooker was not able to forgive the ML though it's all for her sake. What's the use of both of them suffering?
God im sooo irritated for wasting time on this series.
No offense for all who liked the series, just my opinion.

Unnecessary remake!

When a drama is a remake we couldn’t help ourselves comparing the both. Same thing happened with me over this.
It is just just based on meet @1006, not a remake, the story has been changed a lot. The changed part being the worst of it.
Original: I loved the original a lot even though it has a lot of flaws…it’s a different take on time travel, not completely but for a part of day intrigued me a lot and it kind of lived up to what was offered. The acting and feelings were on point. There is no drastic change in characters suddenly..it flowed naturally. Even though the FL was lil too much gradually she grew on me. Highlight would be Lego, he portrayed 2 characters flawlessly. And the chemistry is oozing…The transition from getting his memories back to where he is a lil rushed but it’s ok. It’s one of the funniest dramas out there. The story panned sooo good.
This; it’s so dumb … I could not feel any chemistry b/w them at all. The Ml tried but FL is straight on big no, didn’t even try… always whining and pushing him away rather than trying to solve things completely ignoring other persons feelings or struggles. The changed part was kind of dumb and too much filler scenes.
Overall soo much disappointed…

Noble idiocy at its peak!

Let me start off with the story.
Story: it is nothing new. One idiot sibling taking the burdens of others. This being at a peak.
Acting:
Jun su: the eldest of 4 siblings. Him and his dad almost living on the streets meets a pure soul who would be their family later on. His dad marries this angel lady with 2 kids and they all become a family. Of course tragedy happens, they lose their parents. And jun su takes up the mantle. He makes his siblings his dream and always there for them. And another tragedy strikes, his younger brother accidentally kills his schoolmate and doesn’t realize it, so he takes the blame and goes to jail for him. Till then I kind of understand. And it should’ve ended there. He comes out of jail meets his love lady and all good but he has to be more foolish and tries to sacrifice her coz his brother also likes her.
There is no end for his so called sacrifices, I couldn’t interpret if that is his love or his foolishness. He fails to think from others perspective how they would feel if they find out all this. At one point I kind of understood him but going on it felt soo redundant and unbearable.
Don’t get me wrong, the above rant doesn’t mean I’m irritated with him. I love how pure and selfless his character is, it’s very difficult to find such family now a days.
Actor: Im ju hwan, this guy is precious. He can cry soo beautifully. He conveyed the characters emotions soo presicely that I wanted to get into the screen and give him a big hug when he is suffering and pinch his cheeks when he is being cute. All pros to the actor. Even though he is almost 10 yrs older than the FL he looks soo young with a baby face.
Do hee: she provided all the confidence that main guy needs. A very good eg of lady power. Love her, she is so straightforward and goes all in for what she wants, whether it is the guy or in what she believes. Very mature vibe.
Actor: so ra: she is very beautiful. She made the character believable.
Kyung seok: the so called culprit. The silent caring one. I love his character, the righteous guy he people and govt need. His repentance and self punishing arc is one of the best in the series.
Actor: tae joon: he is stiff in his acting. Maybe coz it’s one of his beginning works.
Jin joo: the unni of siblings. Serious character always shouting and making a mess but it is understandable. Having to burden the problems after the elder brother became a supposed murdered can make people so. Highly responsible lady who never backs out from responsibilities and in her liver for her family.
Han byul: she portrayed the character perfectly. I could feel her emotions through.
Joo Kyung: supposedly cute character. At the beginning didn’t like her much coz of her staking ways, but later on kind of understood why the writers had to design her character so. She needs to be so to get a person like kyung Seok open up. She complements his stern personality perfectly, at least for me. It doesn’t necessarily have to the guys who has to pursue the loved ones but girls can too. Both the ladies proved that here.
Actor: so yul: she made the character lively.
Hyun woo and seol hyun did their parts well. No complaints there.
Over all the drama gave what it promised. Makjang, melo, romance, angst, etc.
I would rewatch it after a while.
One of the best long drams I’ve watched.

Loved the FL, shined throughout the drama

This drama is exceptional and very intense.
Story: Nothing we haven't seen before. It was good in its own way
Characters:
FL: The drama is from FL's POV, how she broke the stereotype and went back to try out what she always dreamed of, to avoid any regret in the future. Love a strong FL. Very straightforward most of the time, she daringly confronted the ML on many occasions instead of backing away, not doing so might lead to more angst and misunderstandings. She didn't go the route of 'I love him, even though I'm hurting so much and should always understand him', she tried her best to be happy, but when it came to a point she found she was not happy she openly words her fears and insecurities straight on instead of bottling up, which i found very satisfying. In this era, we have to voice out good or bad with the people we love to make them understand how they make us feel. She has her insecurities with her music and love life in the middle, but she turned out strong in the end. Didn't take shit from ML or anyone else. Of course, they get back together but I liked how she prioritized herself first after all the pain she went thru and said "enough, I don't want to deal with ur shit anymore". PEB nailed it!! she was spot on in every scene, you can literally see the emotions in her expressions.

ML: Very complex character. A guy who is confused and couldn't set his priorities straight. Understandable at the beginning of the drama coz he is struggling with his hidden feelings for the SFL, but not after he admitted he likes the FL and they start dating. Didn't want to share things with FL even though he knew it might hurt her and lead to misunderstandings. Hated it when he ignored her and lied multiple times unless the FL confronted him. Agree he is kind of a person who bottles up/ not share his probs but not at the cost of hurting the person he loves the most which he claims is the FL. He is not a bad person but just a conflicted person. Sure there would be a few mistakes we make in a relationship that too being an introverted person he is but wish he got over a few things first and then took the big step. Drama has shown how much pain and torment the FL has gone thru coz of him, I would've been satisfied if he had gone thru same pain, sure there was some at the end but felt it was nothing compared to other party.
But overall nice acting. KMJ managed to convey his emotions well most of the time.

SML is the sad puppy of the show, his acting touched the spots.
SFL is not the typical evil B. sure she tried to sabotage the ML's relationship once or twice, but not to the extent of being evil.
OST is good enough for a drama that is set in the music world.

Delightful comedy with interesting characters

First of all for sure it’s entertaining
The acting is not bad
Nara and yi kyung shone through out the series…
ML is lacking in so many aspects, acting wise and character wise as well
Secondary characters are overlooked..not much importance given to any particular person
FL; very pretty and intellectual…I have seen justification in all of her actions. The only person who is clear pin mind, what she wants to do and what she has to do…not influenced by any factors…rare to see such a strong FL in dramas…
ML; strong and righteous…very good in calculating things…
character wise he is lacking a few aspects…needs to grow on learning what has to prioritized over other things…felt soooo bad for the FL, felt like it Was always her that put in efforts to take their relationship forward or in cherishing it…he didn’t even try…when she just walked away not one but twice…it was always her that came back…that is sooo bad from a person who claims he likes her and not even giving a rats a**when she walks away! Just try man try to get her back instead of just leaving not once but twice…if it’s me I would’ve just shrugged it off and told him to Foff… I know it’s not a romance oriented drama but just voicing out my opinion…I can’t bare when a character doesn’t cherish a relationship(any) as much as it has to be…
Servant; OMG very much needed for the series…the facial expressions are to the point…loved each and every scene of his…
SML and SFL; went wrong in sooo many different ways…come on even though they were not as the rumors say they somehow made it true at the end…which is sooo not ok…and I didn’t get the point of them becoming bandits…soo unnecessary…
Ahn nae sang; sooo cute…why!
Over all it’s an ok drama you can watch it once…

Wish the ML would grow some backbone

I usually do not review on MDL, this being my 1st. I was soo frustrated that I had to rant, feeling I was robbed of my precious time.
Came across this drama from one of the recommendations on Jark Sadtroo Soo Hua Jai, which i loved, and that being my most fav larkon till date.
Where do I start? There are sooo many things that went wrong with this drama.
This is sooo predictable and unnecessary over drama involved, I guess that's why it's called drama.

The story is nothing new. Same old, guy deceiving the girl but really falling hard for her in the process.
The organization is fighting with the bad guys, ML being a part of it.
ML:
He is s decent guy, conflicted and confused most of the time. What threw me off is he was trying so hard to fight for the job but not for his life which he claims is the FL. I was like "DUDE, FOR GOD's SAKE, PLEASE GROW A BACKBONE AND FIGHT FOR YOUR GIR"(liked the FL's step-bro in this case). In one scene he says the FL should marry the other guy and the next he would be leading her on not allowing her to move on. "Even though I can't be your boyfriend I will treat and care for you the same way I did as before when we were together" like really WTF is he talking?
We see that he loves her a lot but what's the use if you cant make ur loved ones happy? All over the drama, he says he loves her more than anything in the world but still leaves her alone to fight herself for their love even though she literally begs for him to take her away. Shouldn't it be like both of them fighting for each other when they are in love? Is my understanding of love false? Is my life deceiving me till now? Anyway, could've been better if he was conflicted for an episode or 2 but this drags on forever.
FL:
My first time seeing her acting, she is good. She was crying most of the drama(of course mainly coz of the ML). She deserved better. Loved her character. Even though she is reluctant to get back together with the ML when she found that he was deceiving her but later on when she realized she would not be able to live her life happily without him there's no turning back for her. There was a scene where the 2ML came to pick her up and she firmly hols the MLs hand telling he would drop her and the ML just drops her hand implying she leave with 2ML, Her expression was spot on somewhere b/w disappointment, sadness and I even saw a hint of disgust. That one scene is enough for me to hate the ML. She is ready to fight anyone for her love, in few scenes even the ML. She did all she could to get him back. Loved her determination.
The rest of the cast was OK as well. The sister and friend of FL are good. Wish there is a friend for the ML as well who can kick his ass when he is behaving like a coward bastard which he does most of the drama.
I know it's 50 rom and remaining action, the uncovering of bad guys' secrets is OK, not bad.
Most of it is a rant coz I hate cowards, especially in dramas. Cant avoid the same in real life but wish at least the dramas will set us an example.
