Court Lady has its own older audience despite they said its a flop in China but the dehydrated views are still in the Top 10 drama in 2021. and the drama was bought by Taiwan national broadcast and became Top drama in Taiwan. So I guess that pissed off his haters because despite their efforts his drama is still gaining audience and doing well and they wanted to make sure he is buried for good. That's why their strategy is lower the douban score and negatively smeared his dramas reputation.

Royal Feast suddenly has a wave of negative melon about the drama copying Korean drama demanding the drama to be cancelled because they don't want this drama to go to National broadcast. When the national broadcast is cancelled suddenly these "patriotic" melon disappeared. Satisfied that their strategy works perhaps. and now She and Her Perfect Husband some parties are wholehearted trying to go on smear campaign so that this drama won't go on national TV broadcast. If other artists do it it's fine but if Xu Kai did it suddenly all kind of negative melon came out. So yeah there will be issue with every single of Xu Kai's drama coming out in the future because he is targeted.

and also by the way I said they ADDED EPISODES, I didn't say they added SCENES. They don't have enough scenes to stretch to the added up until 56 episodes HENCE they keep repeating the scenes. the 54 and 56 episodes are differences between ONLINE broadcast and HUNAN TV broadcast.

I haven't read the novel but I saw that the novel is popular, can only hope they make a different type of storyline other than whats done before even if it is based on novel.

Well as you know the author of this book also wrote Yang Yang's just finished filming Fireworks of My Heart with Wang Churan, in fact that particular book that Yang Yang's drama adapted from is the one that is going to court and battling plagiarism legal battle right now, not this drama. So how come when Yang Yang is filming the exact problematic IP that author got in trouble for but they trended having this issue with this IP that has no trouble with plagiarism just the same author?

Huang Xuan is a highly acclaimed actors in China. His status is higher than Yang Yang. He don't need any marketing, or fandom so no fanbase headache. Hence I want him to follow Huang Xuan humble path. For example if you commented on Douban Yang Yang's acting is better than Huang Xuan in China, they would call you crazy. That's how different it is in China regarding status.

Before you accused someone lying better do your own research first and Chinese drama information is from chinese platform only. Look it up in weibo or douban group the legends that's where the infos are not english wikipedia. and no they did not added more scenes if you noticed they keep looping the same scenes from earlier episodes in flashback manner they added episodes by looping previously aired scenes in earlier episodes. heck even the ending of showing their children they used back unused footage of mo qing and zhao yao in their earlier days and call back voice actor to dub as if that scene is about their children, you can see their lips movement didn't align with the voice. FYI Chinese drama can add scenes after airing unless those scenes was reported and also this drama was aired in 2019 when the restriction is less strict than it is now. Where did I said it didn't top rating? I said because it was doing well that the capital demand to add more episodes to get more advertisement profit.

They are not, they are doing movies and popular because they have traffic. I look at data everyday from weibo and douban everyday hence I know which category they are. And I rather not Xu kai turning into Wyb because his fandom is on obsession. Percisely because he got famous for BL dramas, can you name his other movies and dramas that is critically acclaimed? He has no movies out yet but he has tons of movies, percisely just because he has popularity not because he won any award for his movies which none has come out yet. Normal actors don't usually has big fandom, I rather him develop like Huang Xuan.

From what I read, the one who keep the price high is Jaywalk and the one who fighting for TV is the director (he has multiple dramas went to TV) so now that Jaywalk is out of the picture, they can lower the price.

Most of the melon from marketing account on weibo actually take from posts and comments at Douban, and those users at Douban love to mock any artists and is the hub of haters so they will say the most demeaning reasons for any hot topic knowing their words will be taken and spread by marketing accounts at weibo because it's scandalous.
