Why?

I have followed other Xu Kai's dramas before and I never expected anymore than what the drama can deliver? They are actors, bts usually provided by official drama weibo and we take what we were given and never expected more because that's how normal drama airing usually is. It's good that ysx like to take extras for fanservice for her fans but what is the assumptions that other actors fans would be thankful to her? We'd be thankful to her to do free promotion for our fav? Why? Are other fans ever said they are desperate for extra fanservice? Do we demand it? None of Story of Yanxi Palace actors do fanservice for the drama to blow up, it blew up because it has good plot and characters. What I like about Xu Kai is that he never did excessive promotion beyond drama characters and plot. That's why I like Xu Kai, he's low key and don't do extra service outside of drama setting. But different folks different stroke and I respect that YSX fans like what she is doing, I mean that's why you are fan of somebody.

I mean no disrespect and we need to be respectful of each other, but this assumptions from ysx fans of other actor/actresses fans desperately needed her, feels disrespectful to me tbh. Everyone likes their fav for different reasons no one should assumed someone need to be thankful as if we actor fans are desperate.

On episode 2 so far, and it's excellent. As expected of Lingjian Mountain team. Plot scriptwriting, directing and editing is on point so far in delivering this complicated plot. Crumbs were left at the right pace just enough to keep audience intrigued one hint after another.

I follow weibo and follow this drama since it first announce in Aug 2020 and frequent on this page. I have seen marketing account posted saying airborne but none of them is melon master. Even them didn't say it will be on 31st October. One trusted melon master said it will be in November. So yes I've been on weibo for years and knows to differentiate between marketing accounts and melon master 🤔

I don't see anything on the poster saying 31st October and I won't argue with you either. 😂

Fandom ranking is for traffic fans to gloat and be proud of there is no need to compare. Xu Kai just keep acting and didn't go to variety show much so his fans came from drama fans who don't bother to do all these supertalk sign in as they only came in if he has drama airing. So for the nth time you can blow ysx popularity to the roof or you can say that she is even more popular than Yang Mi or whatever but keep Xu Kai's name out of your assumptions about the industry, stop looking down on Wan Peng or any other artists it didn't look good on your fandom, Wan Peng doesn't need exposure from YSX she is fine getting this role on her own without using any capital. Why don't you talk about plot more and what are their characters in this drama? It's a more constructive point. Stop being on high horse.

Yw. Yes but tribute drama period actually ended on October not during October. They have started airing since early September and those airing now is all tribute drama. Like Cheng Yi's legal theme, Zhao Lusi rising youth theme etc. They all will end in October.

Let me just correct some misconceptions about the timeline of this drama XD
This drama has never released actual promotion trailer, neither did they announced the drama will be coming soon when the sole trailer released. The trailer that we all see was actually released to celebrate the end of filming which ended in 25 June 2021.

Wow your description of desired plot actually matched Xu Kai's upcoming drama "Wonderland of Love" he played the 17th grandson of the emperor, the unfavored son of the crown prince and he was stationed as a general in faraway border, and met fl who is also a general, through battles with rebel and battles in politics both ended up being emperor and empress. The drama will come out in 2023 though

There is a second season. This drama actually brought profit to the production company compared to a hyped drama The King's Avatar which did not bring profit. This drama didn't win the hype but they gained loyal audience.
