Love Upon a Time and Love in the Moonlight both deal with the pressures of a homophobic society and the tension between love and duty.

Similarities:
- both deal with one of the two main characters being engaged to a woman as part of their "duty" to their family (and/or country)
- intense internalized homophobia (specifically from Saenkaew in LITM and Jom in LUAT)
- both have very heartwarming friendships between the main characters
- YEARNING--THE YEARNING IS CRAZY
- both will make you BAWL be prepared to CRY

Differences:
- LUAT is set in the Ayutthaya period while LITM is set between 1964-1965
- LUAT involves time travel and reincarnation
- LITM focuses on one mlm couple whereas LUAT features two

I recommend both of them they are MASTERPIECES, just absolutely EXCELLENT BLs you will not regret watching <3

Mr Heart and the movie Feel the Wind which is adapted from the novel, anime Kazetsuyo (Run with the Wind) has same promise. Running, diffuculties which a runner has, bromance/romance through the friendship etc

Both are short japanese shows about a gay couple that has actually split already a while ago but has to pretend to still be in a relationship. In 100 days its for the sake of a documentary about their love life, in Jack O Frost due to amnesia the MC does not know he and the Love Interest have broken up.

Another Korean gay historical romance. It's a very short film, about 15 min long, but poignant. I think it was the first of it's kind.

Although Cabbage Your Life is a much more modest series in every respect, it shares some of the spirit of Racket Boys. In both series from the first episode, we see how a city family moves to a small town and has to adapt to life there. The villagers play a significant role in these dramas. They are endearing characters with their own life stories. In Racket Boys, everything revolves around badminton, while in Cabbage Your Life, agriculture and nutrition are the central themes, along with the search for one's calling.

Somehow the first few episodes of Viral Hit reminded me of Weak Hero. Bullies and fighting them. The main leads are pretty similar visually speaking. They have a cute innocent faces. In Viral hit, there is an aspect of livestreaming and getting profit from it.

Ever since they were young, Pran and Pat's families had a deep and raging rivalry, trying to one-up each other on everything. This also extended to their sons.
