Both are movies inspired by a true story about the ML fighting to bring justice to a group of deaf people.
Both are slow burn romance with focus on character development and have beautiful visuals. The feel and pacing are similar, though the actual plot is very different. The focus on LBL is focused on the two leads with very few side stories, MY is all about the ensemble cast. Meet yourself doesn’t have a real villain or any childhood trauma that binds or tears the leads apart, it is more about their personal growth. At least that’s what I remember, I just kept thinking about MY as I was watching LBL. Let me know if you agree.
In my opinion these two are very similar, HDY is about a girl that got sucked into a novel and LGIEF is about a girl who got sucked into a novel as well but instead of it being a story like HDY she is in a video game.
the focus is on fulfilling final wishes and turning goodbyes into moments of emotional reconciliation
This also a thai BL. This drama also has an actual main plot which is not BL but murder and politics.
Both dramas explore the reunion of first loves in adulthood, highlighting unresolved emotions, nostalgia, and personal growth.
both are female-centered mystery dramas about a group of girlfriends looking to solve a case. both shows have a similar atmosphere where you just know you can't trust any of the characters, or predict anything that happens. both dramas are filled with secrets and plot twists that can leave the viewer shook.
Destined and Youthful Glory’s similarities lies in the arranged marriage trope, love after marriage, and their female and male leads.
In terms of character, both female leads started with reluctance before quickly accepting their fate with the arranged marriage. After marriage, it did not take them long to adapt and navigate their respective households with intelligence and wit. Both ladies took charge of their respective businesses and is more than willing to give back to the people due to their strong sense of justice. At some point in the stories, both female lead also experiences loss of their family member, although brief. These women are also great support for their husbands in different ways.
Aside being skilled in martial arts, the male leads are also similar in a way that they both work in politics and are more than ready to go to war if needed. Despite so, at home they super soft with their respective wives. They do not mind their wives doing business and they just protect and support them in the back whenever needed. Both couples have mutual respect for one another.

Well,,,
I guess we don’t really need to explain what makes us recommend this drama…
We’re talking about the:
- ENDING!!! (To be honest, I cried way too hard while watching Way Back Love but not as much as Even If This Love Disappears Tonight… of course it’s probably because of the duration)
- Overload Cuteness…
- It’s always the Male Lead… why tho? (Is it because the market is mostly women?)
But the Female Lead attitude towards the happening is very different (if I might say)

Similarities: ML is a villain in the book but can hear FL thoughts which changes him, FL must act against her will.
Differences: FL is forced to act against her will to keep the plot or she gets electrocuted, inner dialogue is lustful /kind vs FL is in a "blind box" system where an extreme personality trait takes over temporarily and her inner dialogue is silly/whiny.

This one feels like the more polished, emotionally restrained version of MHB’s premise.
SIMILAR VIBES
• Contract relationship is the core structure.
• ML is wealthy, emotionally closed off.
• FL treats romance like a business arrangement.
• Public image + private tension dynamic.
DIFFERENCES (MHB vs Love in Contract)
• FL is already a professional “contract wife” vs MHB FL stumbles into it.
• Tone is more mature and less chaotic.
• Comedy is subtle, not loud.
• No blind date sabotage origin story.
• Less workplace confusion drama.

Very similar energy, rich heir + contract dating + strong-willed normal girl but it leans a little more classic K-drama romance while MHB is more chaotic and hustle-queen coded.
Both dramas have that “why are these two forced together??” tension that slowly turns into sparks
SIMILAR VIBES
• ML is a chaebol heir under family pressure (inheritance drama).
• FL is strong, grounded, and absolutely not impressed by his wealth.
• Contract relationship forced by family expectations.
• Lots of bickering ? gradual softening.
• Physical proximity situations that make things awkward (and funny).
DIFFERENCES (MHB vs 1%)
• FL in 1% is stable and morally upright (a schoolteacher) vs MHB’s FL is a chaotic job-hopper hustling multiple gigs.
• 1% ML is openly arrogant from the start vs MHB’s ML plays more calculating and controlled.
• 1% doesn’t have the blind date sabotage setup.
• Less “scheming energy,” more emotional growth focus.
• No influencer/cleaning side jobs angle.
If Business Proposal and Money Honey Brainy had a slightly more classic cousin, this is it.

Despite romantic sparks, the marriage between the male and female leads in both dramas were not done willingly. One was tricked, the other left with no choice. Not to mention, both female leads also have someone they love before the male leads. After marriage, the couples start to find love and navigate political conspiracies together. Both dramas also explores business plots.
