After watching 9 episodes I'm reminded of "Lost in 1949" with every episode

Similarities to Lost in 1949
- involves Communists party
- revolves around 1949 + liberation
- mentions Security Bureau
- romance between a communist and non-communist
- espionage/spy/action/historical/war drama themes
- smart female lead role played by the same main actress in "Lost in 1949", Regina Wan

Differences
- female lead is not as clueless about the communists party as she was in "Lost in 1949" drama and she is not as timid, she is portrayed as strong physically and mentally
- male lead has a respectable/upright job

Both FLs are actually hardworking and they don't depend on the MLs to solve their problems.

I believe that both stories are totally rewarding and deal with the same subject. besides that the two are gay series :D

Both talk about the life of a kpop group.

Both focus on artists that are trying to pursue a successful career in music. In Persevere, Goo Hae Ra, there's one idol group too.

Main leads get together rather quickly, issues arise afterwards.
Unrequited love

- both FL are born from military families and supposed to be great at combat
- both ML are “weaker” than the FL in terms of kung fu
- both OTP are the key to keeping their nation free and protecting their emperor
- both FL are favored by the royal family, Ye Zhao being a great general, while Ban Hua is royal princess

PS. I like the character of Ye Zhao more than Ban Hua because Ye Zhao is more than brawns. She actually thinks like a general and doesn’t always needs to be saved by her ML. But I like the ML in A Girl Like Me since he’s smarter and less of a lecher than the ML in Oh My General.

Prince / princess stayed with poor ML/FL.
Prince / princess got announced to be dead.
Prince / princess got hunted to be killed.
The poor ML/FL is supposed to be born in noble family.
Both drama have similar village view.

Its just my opinion. Lets enjoy the show ???

Main characters are orphans who became best friend like family. To avenge someone they love dearly, they took on new identities: One works in the criminal underworld while the other a business man.

Similar in aspect of it concerning two fathers raising their child while struggling with the heteronormative society and how to explain to their child their difference from other families but still normal, while others try to tell them otherwise.

- the female lead also enters a different world (not a game)
- the male lead falls for the female lead

In this drama series, the female lead enters a comic book/alternative reality to save the male lead. It is quite gripping and well-made. You can watch it on Netflix.

This is a movie version, but there is also a drama series called "Love 020" which is longer. I personally prefer the film because of the two main leads. The movie can be found here:

Similar plot where one of the two siblings dies and the older of the two searches for the truth behind the suicide. Social networks play their part in the process of psychological destruction of the characters.
Film plays in both series.

Both Thai series dealt with issues like cyberbullying, school bullying and social problems that women have to face because of envious 'friends'. In both, the ignored boy who had a crush on her is the only person who truly understands her and supports her.

However, I must advise The Judgement is darker than The Comments (even when all them depict hard themes), since there are some explicit sexual abuse scenes in that one.
