Intense revenge drama with complex characters. Both are set in a fictional but still realistic (and Tang-inspired) world/time period.
- Same director
- The main character lu zhao yao of the legends is like a female version of wei wu xian from the untamed
- Reincarnation
- Spans over a long period of time
- Shows how not everything is black or white

I think they have a similar vibe. DISCLAIMER I am only up to ep 31 on First love.
PYHOMS is more focused on the romance of the main couple than in First love and has lots more Awww moments. The romance in First love is slower moving and a little more "innocent".
Both have;
Long distant relationship/breakup (SPOILER;which I did not like in First love)
No real bad guy characters.
Characters stay true to eachother.
Smart ML willing to do almost anything for their girl.
More time spent on the main leads relationships with friends and family in First love.
PYHOMS starts at university and continues on to worklife for some characters while First love starts in high school and continues into university life.
I like the stories of the secondary characters in first love better than in PYHOMS.

Extreme Job is a Korean movie, but it breaks the norm in the sense that an action-packed feature need not be serious all the time, but it can also have very effective comedic reliefs. Enjoy the watch!
Both are crime thrillers set in a law drama setting. As for the main leads, the ML in Defendant undergoes a more tragic life event involving himself, while in Confession the tragedy involves his father. Both are exceptionally well-written shows that really must be watched by fans of crime/law dramas. Confession, in particular, is very underrated and deserves more love!
Ma Dong Seok acts in both movies as the "bad" guy that is used to catch a "worse" guy? and both movies have the same concept of cop + criminal, against the more dangerous criminals
it's kinda funny that both Ma Dong Seok and Kim Mu Yeol acted in the bad guys series, but not in the same one.. KMY acted in the 2nd season while MDS acts in the 1st and movie vr.
basically the stories are the same, the cop/prosecutor work with the "bad" gangster guy to get a more "evil" enemy..

Both have Ruby Lin working in the entertainment industry falling in love with a younger man. In Drama go go go, she plays a naive , timid script writer who likes a younger actor, in My Dear Boy, she plays a confident, successful movie director falling in love with a technician. I recommend My Dear boy.
Both drama are about lives and choices of many men and women and how their decisions affect the lives of their children and their partners.
In fake princess, it is a princess who grows up as an ordinary girl and suddenly finds that her love with the ML is in jeopardy because of her royal status, but in the Flower crew it is the second ML who grows up as an ordinary guy in love with the FL.
Similar female lead seen as the class fighter, the male leads both secretly love the FL. The ML is also smart and helps FL to study and improve her chances in college. I think both these dramas are enjoyable.
