Both MPS and ATCY are Korean dramas with romance, time travel, and mystery. Both attempt to alter the past. Both use a “device” to travel to the past. In ATCY, it’s a mixtape and in MPS, it’s a car. However, in MPS, the characters travel as their current selves, and in ATCY, the characters travel into an alternative version of themselves in the past. Overall, ACY is much more convoluted.

Both have unexplainable phenomenon/plot mystery. Both have a sort of time travel. Both are trying to prevent a catastrophe. However, Alice is more future based than in the past. Alice has a ML and FL, but the main character is the ML. Lastly, ATCY is much more romance heavy whereas Alice has sense of romance but overall is not a romance between the ML and FL.

Both have similar themes of parallel character shown as “trapped” inside the body when the other character takes over. Both explore an alternative world/time travel. However HOG, the female lead goes to multiple timelines and versions of herself whereas ATCY, the female lead goes back to the same timeline. Also, in HOG, the female lead travels with a male lead and they experience it together. Both also attempt to change the course of events and both have romance although HOG it’s more secondary. HOG it’s also a Chinese drama whereas ATCY is a Korean drama.

Derailment and ATCY have heavy tones with romance, thriller, mystery, and fantasy elements. Both explore time travel and alternate worlds. However, Derailment is a Chinese drama and explores memory loss and altering more than ATCY.

If you want a really great revenge story for a second chance life, check out Rise from the Ashes!!! It has a clever plot much better than The Double, and while a miniseries of 10-minute episodes it is done in a superb way with brilliant script, really good characters as written and acted and the heroine there is a thorough kick ass!

SYNOPSIS: It started off peculiarly; first, his domestic cat refused to let him cuddle it. Lin Qiushi soon found that a sense of disharmony and incongruity began to pervade everything around him. Then, one odd day, he pushed open a door, and he discovered that the hallway he was familiar with turned into a boundless corridor. At both ends of this corridor were twelve, identical iron gates. Thus, the story began.

Both the dramas showcase romance between senpai and kohai (senior and junior) in a college setting. The kohai are from country-side who initially have insecurities about living in a metropolitan city during college. They join the club of the senpai they admire. The senpai are kind guys with a painful past.

The female lead is the male lead's high school classmate and his secret one-sided crush , and they reunited 10 years later .

These two are similar in the sense that the group of friends have known each other since very young and grow up to be very close to each other and both the male friends develop feelings for the girl later on. But more importantly their similarity is most prominent by their focus on friendship and family.

Sweet and cute. Isn't angsty any enemy will get sorted fast.
I would say it got alike vibe.

Both show the journey of a startup founder (and a female CEO) and go into the business aspects in quote some detail.

The ML of As Beautiful As You and the 2ML of Start-up are similar in that they are successful, cut-throat businessmen but also lonely and craving love.

Both are lead by the great Kaya Kiyohara. In this series, the male character also faces life challenges. The female lead, on the other hand, will serve as inspiration to him. It's sweet and light, but will also come with some drama.
