Another similarity is that the FL's best friend in both dramas turn into their enemy causing problems.
Well, another one is just that - even though, knowing the FL's actual face in Gangnam Beauty, he continues to like her and so as in True Beauty, well, similar but she does actually continues with her face without plastic surgery.

IMO, I prefer True Beauty...

Slice of life, an unlikely match and a whole lot of fluff! Perfect to binge and get immersed in the vast enviroments and beauitful cinematography

school setting , blooming romance , school friendships. The leads meet at their school age. The friendships they hold and the level of protectiveness they have are very similar.

Both FLs travel from the modern day to a historical world and fall in love with the ML. Both FLs begin to fade in and out as their time in that world draws to a close.

Similar relationship of two men, one "straight" playing off of one who is goofy/funny. Both with a gangster theme, including spying. One is bromance the other is BL.

If you're interested in business/romance, this is also a good one! Also focuses on investments in medical technology/AI - in this case focusing on heart disease. The romance element involves exes to enemies to business partners to lovers - there is a child involved (and he's honestly one of the best parts of the show). Good business romance overall, but also one of my go to "feel good" dramas when I just want something light and heartwarming!
