As is expected, due to them sharing the same name, this season continues to focus on the trials and tribulations of Korn and Knock- whilst not being as good as 'Together With Me', both series share an obstacle to their relationship- though in 'The Next Chapter', the effect of it is much more profound.

If you were into this one for Korn and Knock, as well as the relationship w their friends (notably Yiwha) then this is definitely one for the list. Intriguing to see how their stories intertwine throughout the series. And let me stress, Yiwha is the absolute queen in 'Bad Romance'!

Aside from both being BLs, they share another common component in that they both have that one character that seeks to wrest control of the one of the partners in the relationship from the other.

Similar in setting and themes, and accident causes people to go to the bleak future Where they learn to be human beings again.

My Dearest is giving me the vibe of Empress Ki.
Both shows highlight strong lead characters and the main trope: men vs. powerful evil
In both stories, the couples are separated due to the internation's conflict as well.
Empress Ki has a lot of palace conflicts as well as swordfighting, and battles between countries. Also here we have a female protagonist who really stands up for herself and her comrades.

If you enjoy Tomorrow and Goblin, there's a high chance you'll enjoy Hotel de Luna. Both of them offer a high-brow fantasy storyline and high-quality cinematographic production. I think fans of either would just absolutely eat up the other, they're almost like a pair.

the male and female leads in both the dramas are good in studying. They have to stay apart due to some family circumstances and meet each other later in the university.

Similarities:
-A small group of people band together to bring an end to evil and learn truths about the past and themselves.
-Great martial arts skills.
-Very smart/slightly cheesy ML's in both.
-Both groups solve mysteries and get to the bottom of things.
-Comedy is ever present in both.

In both dramas, there are supernatural abilities involved. These are the baseline for bothdramas.

Moving is placed in modern times
Alchemy of Souls is placed in fictional historical times

The two dramas include the actress Go Yoon Jung however Alchemy of Souls doesn't have much screen time for her yet until the 2nd season.

Both are supernatural and have a compelling plot that causes series of chained reactions.

A difference is that Mirror of the Witch is based around 1 supernatural while Moving is based around 3 supernaturals.

Ones more romantic and another one is more slice of life/detective kind.

It's about a teenager who is gifted and is trying to fit into the everyday life of a teen. it has romance, action and suspense. They both have adults who are trying to protect their wards from people who want to harm them.

The comedy of BFtB is also as fun in Wulin Heroes--so if you are seeking more fun and less angst driven dramas like Til the End of the Moon or Longest Promise, check it out.

It is a Joseon-period historical drama. I would love for this show to be picked up by Netflix so that I could watch it with English subtitles. I love other Korean historical dramas, e.g., Mr. Sunshine, Mr. Queen, The King's Affection, and Rookie Historian! More, please! I am an English-speaking US citizen hooked on South Korean TV shows. I am learning a little bit about the Korean language, culture, and history as I watch.
