Different settings but I think it's similar because one lead role too pure and one lead know who they are

Why Try to Change Me Now is another Dongbei noir, but has a much greater emphasis on atmosphere and setting than The Long Season. I found The Long Season ultimately more satisfying with regard to its character arcs and resolution and plot twists, but compared to others, still found Why Try to Change Me Now phenomenal. The characters are traumatized and emotionally stunted aliens living in harsh environments. Both shows dig into the trauma of Dongbei rust belt life and economic shifts.

Both dramas include cohabitation between the male and female leads. Both have male leads with similar careers , an architect in LBL, and an accessibility-focused designer for people with disabilities in SC. In each drama, the FL shows interest first, while the ML , shaped by past trauma , struggles to move the relationship forward.

Follows a similar setting where a genius school student assists police in solving crimes that seem to revolve around the student. Both leads in both dramas have partly tragic back stories, and always help each other in situations (more in Be Reborn though).
If you liked Evil Minds, Be Reborn is definitely a yes too!!

A Moment to Remember and Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight are similar because both center on a deeply devoted romance threatened by memory loss, where the male lead chooses to keep loving and caring for the female lead even as she forgets him. In each story, the emotional weight comes from the fragility of time and memory, showing that love is proven through repeated actions and quiet persistence rather than just shared memories, creating the same bittersweet, tear-heavy atmosphere.
