Very much similar.Both include time loop and time travel fantasy with a lot of mystery and romance.In both ,one lover made a lot sacrifices for another.The male lead characters have a lot of similarity.But shining for one thing male lead is very shy while forever love male lead is very open minded.Very very similar vibes.Both are masterpieces.But shining for one thing is a drama which will get a sequel movie (upcoming) while love you forever is a movie.

In both movies male lead is madly in love with the female lead.Both movies include the period of school life as well as career life .In both movies female lead is also supportive.But love you forever is about time loop ,fantasy, mystery with romance.While my love is a slice of life based romantic movie .But you will get similar vibes from both them.

Both titles feature a lead character who was a friend, and love interest, to the other lead before suddenly passing away due to an accident. The deceased leads, Koichi (Eternal Yesterday) and Meiko (Anohana), get to spend time more with their love interests, even after death, giving them a chance to better express any feelings they may not have spoken out loud yet. They also get to do things together that they may not have had the chance to do anymore due to the fact that one passed away.
