This drama reminds me of Ultimate Weapon Alice. Both are about high school bullying the main character who used to be weak one.
The dramas aren't actually that similar, but they have the same pleasant, cozy and chill kinda vibe. Both dramas will make you laugh a lot, but also cry sometimes. The male leads also have similar stories with trauma, blaming themselves and helping other people. Also the grandma (<3) is played by the same actress in both shows (Kim Young Ok).
So if you like either one of these dramas, and want to watch a show that gives off the same feeling while making you feel at home, then I'd really recommend you to watch the other one too. :)

Both Kdramas have a main guy who was bullied in high school but eventually stands his ground and fights off the bullies. Both main lead guys are strong and they were both a little quiet in the beginning.
The slow but intense description of the serial killer. Abrupt but sensualizing references of the serial killer. Not knowing whether to hate or love the killer trope.
Both are historical films featuring intimate scenes between two people of the same gender. The acting is also amazing in both. Song Ji Hyo in Frozen Flower has strong presence.
Both sageuk films that feature intense relationships. both films have some scenes not for minors too. Homosexuality is featured in both.
I think this drama is very different from others with the same genre. It takes unexpected twists and turns.
The brother hood between Ye Miao and Ye Lin was a highlight in this drama. How they both loved and cherished each other. Xia Rui was a lovable and kind character. She was straightforward at the same time. Shen Zhen is self-centered and cunning person, especially towards Xia Rui . I think drama is worth for watching.

Both have bromance between main character and his best friend who joked that they might be a married couple in previous life. Both have graphic violence, it's just that one is in military and one in high school (D.P. is more graphic). Both dramas have Hong kyung & Shin Seung Ho. Even the opening feels very similar.
