People gather at a split-level flat on a backstreet of Roppongi, Tokyo, men pay ¥20,000, women ¥1,000 and couples ¥5,000 apiece to spend the hours of midnight to 5 a.m. at a sex party. A moody Neet guy empties out his bank account for this night of pleasure, and a bespectacled college student who at first impresses as mousy and shy join the party. Presiding over this orgy are a jaded manager and bartender who explain and enforce three simple rules: Take showers prior to sex, use protection and respect the wishes of the women. Most dangerously, the Neet guy is falling quietly and hard for the student, who reveals herself as the horniest of all, while never quite breaking out of her shell.

Recommending Gaus Electronics to those who have watched Laughter in Waikiki 2. As mentioned in my other recommendation for the Season 1, both had this brand of humor in failure that as a viewer, we can't help laughing out loud how some situations gets silly and misunderstood. They both have romance too and I would say the couples in both dramas have really nice chemistry.

Recommending Gaus Electronics to those who have watched Laughter in Waikiki. Tbh, I had a hard time finishing the first episode of Gaus Electronics since I disdain verbal abuse and seeing people physically get hurt for nothing (although this was kinda unintentionally self-inflicted, but was kinda caused by his officemates). Just saying I didn't like in the first few parts of episode 1 but come episode 2 and I am laughing out loud like I had in Laughter in Waikiki. If in Laughter in Waikiki, they had 3 struggling tenants not just financially but in other aspects in life, Gaus Electronics is centered on officemates who are in the same marketing team who is known for being a terrible team in the company that are usually prone to failure. Both had this brand of humor in failure that as a viewer, we can't help laughing out loud how some situations gets silly and misunderstood.

Both dramas follow a group of youths in their musical pursuits. In heartstrings there is a rivalry between the ML if a band and the FL who is traditional musician. Through the course of the drama they work through their differences and learn how to make a performance inclusive to their respective genres. In PGHR, a group of childhood friends have a rift between them due to a misunderstanding during a talent competition. Although they end up separate in their musical endeavours, the truth begins to unravel as the drama goes on. Both dramas also star idols in their cast (Henry Lau, CNBlue etc.)

Both are about organized crime and share a lot of the same themes. While watching the movie I found a lot of similarities between the two.
