Both have FLs from the real world who enter a fictional historical world (novel vs. screenplay) and become involved with the story's villain, all while trying to survive the plot and return home.
Both dramas are about the FL entering a screenplay into a fictional historical world where she is a supporting character. The FL then tries to return to the real world by controlling the story and falls in love with the story's villain.
While one is historical and the other modern day, both dramas have a determined FL who is a single mother (either biological mother or aunt/adoptive mother) to a precocious little boy. The child takes a liking to the ML at the beginning and calls him his martial arts disciple. The ML has never met the little boy before but is related to him (father vs. uncle) and quickly steps into the role of father, all while falling in love with the FL.
What I love is that both series dig deep into the behind scenes of the BL industry. War of Y looks at multiple views, from managers fighting for more fame and fortune for their clients to real relationships actors have that could potentially ruin the ships they have with their onscreen partners. Lovely Writer takes the premise of BL writer and one half of a shipped couple who fall in love, not by coincidence but because they know each other from the time they were young.
because both of story base of Adapted from the novel "Peking University Students". even more this drama have different plot story
Dr. Sing(!) is in a sci-fi movie this time, Last time he’s in a mystery movie and he smashed the role.
The first series I thought of was Ming Lan while watching Love like the Galaxy. Both female leads are clever and scheming as a young child. They do this to survive the household they live in. Both husband/fiancee are military generals who adore and loves their wives.
Both have ML as the military general who loves and adores FL.
FL is an intelligent lady and learns to fall in love with ML even though he wasn't her first choice.
Lots of palace politics and romance.
Both leads have fantastic chemistry!
