maybe not story but the vibe is similar, ther are two male main characters which fights for the justice, and only one of them is police. One character looks like carefree and other one is little serious. Both show is bl/bromance with comedy + dark scents also

they're giving countryside energy. Both show ara calm but not boring. There're bl/bromance element and we can see adult life difficulties + depression maybe.. two beautiful stories from Japan
they are bromance/bl. Two of them are about growing, learning, also both show have similar energy + giving countryside feelings. Also one of the character is loud and other one is calmer in both and we can that these two character try to help each other
both has a bromance/lgbt side and they definitely give same energy. We can see 2 people, one is suffering depression/has problems and other one is trying to help him in both shows
they definitely have similar vibe, also both of story is about growing, learning and maybe trying their best.. they're soft, pure and feel-good dramas. They both have lgbt couple also
So this might be very far fetched in terms of similarity but I did and do get the same feeling when watching both dramas. Both revolve around a small group of friends that have known each other for many years and that were involved with one another at some point. Things happen and they grow apart and things happen that make them come back together and try to work through it. There are many different storylines that somehow are all interlinked. Some will make you angry and some will make you feel sad. There is a lot of healing needed and a lot of hurt to go through.
And both dramas are brutally realistic.

A soldier, a volunteer,
an arrogant soldier and a volunteer, the arrogant soldier is "in charge" if you call it that, of the volunteer, (at least he didn't act like he knows the teachers job better than the teacher does but, hey, he was still arrogant. They have that in common, if you didn't realise)
The whole war-zone thing-y, trouble-in-the-zone, soldier comes to help, conspiracies, I think
The whole, "I'm hot and I know it" vibe he has going on
The whole unequal ground love story
you know, figure the rest of it out

Falling into your smile is a romantic Chinese drama which shows how a girl is the first to join a professional eSports team which is a male dominated industry. While Rich Man is a Korean drama which shows a romantic development between the CEO of game development company and an office worker. Both of these dramas have idol celebrities as their leads (Rich Man - Suho, EXO; Falling into your smile - Cheng Xiao, WJSN).
In Both dramas:
1. ML and FL were couples in the past but broke up.
2. They work together later on ( ML as an artist and FL as kind of an organizer).
3. They have a love-hate relationship.

The main character runs a company with employees who are ghosts??? These two dramas have that trope.
Both male leads go back in time when they were in high school. My Life Again is an action/drama while 18 Again is a slice life.
