Somehow I felt this two movie has kind of high schooler growth into college vibe, some romance,. Strong friendship, their love and supporting of other’s goal. Bittersweet, life growth kind of story

Both Chinese movie were film in nice pace. Both main lead has childhood disadvantage and fears. With the teacher/role model courage, belief, hard work and solid friendship, they were able to achieve their goal

Let me tell you, this is the only drama I have come across after TLB that can compare. The fighting scenes were 10/10. Strong FL, no love triangles with the main couple. Their love was felt so deeply without having to be open about it. The story was good there were a lot of turns and twists, not your usual plot; would definitely keep you hooked. Highly recommend. Though, this is rated 8.3 it’s more like 8.8.

Both have ill female leads, but in You Shine in the Moonlit Night the FL has always know about her condition.
The leads both meet by a coincidence so to speak.
You Shine in the Moonlit Night focuses more on the ML doing his best to be there for the FL, and was a very sweet young romance story.

In both e see the relationship of the main couple progress and grow, and then the FL leaves the ML.
Our Meal for Tomorrow focuses more on the ML during the separation compared to Love Like the Falling Petals focusing on the FL’s struggle during her separation from the ML.

Both deal with an an ill lead character.
In I Give My First Love to You the ML has a heart condition and it is known by him and the FL from the beginning.
Both show the love of the couple, but in I Give My First Love to You we get to see some struggles about the illness by the couple as a unit.

In both shows the male leads realizes his feelings for his long time best friend first but is afraid to confess because they are afraid that once they break up they can't be friends anymore.

Sequel of previous Watashi ga Kemono ni Natta Yoru 1. Short drama love story & must watch drama. I like season 2 with better characters in the drama.
