The story of the two films is very different. However, one thing they both have in common is the narrator.

**SPOILER**

At the beginning we are told by a narrator whose whereabouts we do not know. But after that, the narrator introduces himself and both of them are animals.

FL disciple of ML
Both ML made decisions not to get married but that slowly changes over time because FL
One and Only just has a slow-burning love whereas in Pearl Eclipse I felt ML was a bit more aggressive.

This is the previous adaptation of this story, and it’s far better. The Korean version spent like 15 mins at the end expressing what the Japanese original did succinctly and movingly in basically one scene.

They aren’t exactly similar but the yearning ‘to be together but unable to’ is very similar in both shows, added with the natural chemistry and great acting. ITSAY is definitely a much more intense watch but I feel those who truly appreciated it will appreciate Bad Buddy as well!

For everyone who likes bromance, this is perfect. They started off as a stranger and then they found out they're brothers. But then not again.Idk how to explain though. It's cute that the famale lead is not annoying at all and she's a student so,no romance included.

Both set in high school, these dramas focus on characters which are a bit different and have unique interests. With beautiful touching scenes and a kind of poetic approach, we observe slowly budding friendships embedded in mysteries (although How To Buy A Friend is a tad bit more dramatic whereas Muchuu-sa, Kimi Ni is more carefree).

In terms of genre is different as one is school romance genre while the other is office romance genre. But when it comes to make up elements they are somewhat similar. In touch the female lead is interested in make up just like Ju Kyung she's trying discover her talent in make up.

Both story have similarity. In the movie Secret, the female lead went to the future after playing piano in that piano room at her school which could make her travel to the future and meet the male lead in the same piano room at the old building of his school. In Night Wanderer, the male lead could travel to the future after fixing the lamp in his apartment and meet the female lead who happen to be the resident of the apartment in the modern era.
