Both filmed are dark concept. The story about teenagers with hearing impairment who having a hard time to reveal the evil truth behind the sexual assault. It has the same 'based on reality' topic. I found both movies are difficult to watch and still wanna cry.

Special Encounter is what Botox supposed to be. Botox was never released at the end.
But we got Special Encounter which is the Chinese adaptation of the manhwa Botox.

In both dramas, we have 3 bad$$ female leads and we also get three different perspectives on romantic relationships. "Because this is my first life" is more centered on marriage rather than motherhood.

They both focus on females in the workplace. In both dramas, we also have good friendships and romance.

Both dramas are female-centered. Love is true has more focus on the issues pregnancy can cause in the workplace and understanding mothers. They both have romance but that doesn't overshadow the main theme.

Although love is true mostly dealt with mothers and their careers. Both dramas deal with strong career women who are running after their dreams.

These are Chinese historical dramas which also made sequels set in modern days. Both contains two parts.

These dramas have past (historical) and present (morden) counterparts of the lead couple's reincarnations. It was a sad romance in historical part. Both have talented lead actors and amazing chemistry between them.

The girl from the real world wakes up in the world of a novel, and falls in love with the male protagonist. W is much more action-packed, but Lost Romance has some great comedy, a dreamy second male lead, and some hot and sexy moments between the main leads.

Both basically in the same brethren - a bunch of kids in school setting doing DIY stuff (Summer Film is movie, Linda is music). The pacing and zero-to-hero plot of both shows are similar.

-the korean drama has fantasy and the chinese drama does not

One and only is a prequel of Forever and Ever. Watch one and only first in order to understand the deep love of main characters.

Both drama are about a contract relationship that blooms into love and understanding. Opposites attract and life-doesnt-go-the-way-you-want-it are themes that appear in both drama.
Though BTIMFL is more of a slow paced and mature slice of life and Begin Again is more active and playful rom com, both drama couples had an amazing flow. Both drama could easily become off putting due to the plot itself but the actors in both cases did a really good job delivering their roles. You might not understand or agree with the mcs' choices so keep that in mind.

Ghost love stories~ what would happen if you fell in love with a ghost??? Both drama deal with this question. Though one is contemporary and the other is historical one can feel the dedication of the mls to not let go of their love despite the obvious adversities. They also have their fair share of comedy.

Crime meets supernatural. Many ghosts cases that get solved throughout the drama while our main leads deal with their own mysteries and troubles and a dash of complicated past.
