In both shows you can see the romantic life of all three characters and also the struggles of the women in their friendship. While thirty nine definitely has a sad ending, both shows have amazing chemistry between the female leads and their respective romantic partners. I highly recommend either show if you are looking for a friendship heavy show with romantic side plots!
