Both dramas belong to the xianxia/wuxia genre.

Both dramas have an amazing cast.

Both dramas feature multiple lead characters. They include elements of romance, friendship, and teamwork. Dramas with multiple lead roles like these are very popular.

Strong female friendships, Prince and palace politics, dislike turns into love, beautiful costuming and makeup, added comedic elements to keep story fun. Both follow mostly the women's perspectives and their stories.

Royal Rumours has a stronger female lead that is cunning and well trained and is able to navigate the political circles and danger. New Life Begins has a quirky but likeable female lead that is married into the palace and she learns to adapt and find herself through love and friendship.

It's definetly one of the old goldies and is based on manga with the same title. It has a similar plot of high school gang wars but the MC is not actually a wuss and fights head on. The friendships and brotherhood are explored and made. A gem if you like yankee movies and wanna watch hot dudes fight.

These two shows are similar because they both talk about high school love and first love in a rather light and no-brainer way!

Love Too Much is from the Republic era.

ML is the uncle to FL´s fiance in Love Too Much, while ML is the fiance`s brother in Lost in the Midnight.

In both dramas ML shows FL how her fiance is cheating on her with another woman.

Both ML are very possessive and smitten with FL. Lots of sexy kissess.

Both FL are stunningly beautiful with a innocent touch to them.

*MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS*
Similarities:
- both male leads are dead probably years ago
- they died in high school
- male leads died because of female lead (SFOT's male lead died to save female lead, meanwhile WBL's male lead died because of the explosion due to the lucky draw thing)
- in a high school setting (mostly)
difference:
- SFOT is a time travel of female lead to save male lead, and WBL is a supernatural drama which female lead sees the dead/grim reaper (male lead)

Ps. also recommended to watch shining for one thing (movie) and its series

Both Study Group and Tong are centered around fighting school gangs. Also when they defeat a certain group of bullies bigger bullies show up, so in both there is a clear hierarchy within the gangs. On the other hand Study group is more on the comedic side than Tong and because it's much longer there is also more time to explore the characters.
