Both FL are intelligent and use that intellect to survive.
MLs are general- one's trying to clear the name of his falsely accused uncle & the other's hell bent on getting revenge against her family.
Amazing visuals & cinematography
The side characters have amazing chemistry and storyline too!

Both storylines center around a revenge plot against the parent of the love interest due to their own parent's death.

Heart Code focuses on Tarn, whose father was murdered, and she joins the police force to get closer to uncovering who killed her father while plotting her revenge. Without realizing it, she ends up falling for the daughter of the police chief, whom she suspects to be the reason behind her father's death. This makes her feel very conflicted because she falls in love with his daughter, Vicky, even though she wants to seek out her revenge against him, causing turmoil.

Also includes Tarn being a bodyguard for Vicky to protect her, badass fight scenes, and really good chemistry between the actresses!

Honestly, this show is so good, I highly recommend checking it out!

In my opinion, Seol Woo Hyeol deceptively reminds me of Woo Ma Wang, because the one and that one fed the same and smelled blood and behaved in a very similar behaviour. Although they are not vampires, in my opinion they still have similar characteristics to themselves.

-Both focus on the intense pressure of the Chinese high school system and the struggle to succeed in a competitive environment.
- Each story centers on "broken" characters—whether students or teachers—finding a way to move past previous failures and trauma.
-Both dramas feature complex parent-child relationships, often involving academic expectations, parental absence, or reliability issues.
-Both highlight a guiding figure (a teacher or a supportive community member) who helps the protagonist navigate their personal and academic crises.
-They share a grounded, "slice-of-life" style that avoids over-the-top tropes in favor of authentic emotional growth and perseverance.

YOU WOULD REALLY LOVE IT!!!!

Both are based on a manipulative (and mentally ill) guy entering a relationship for an alternate purposes but falling in love/obsessing over the guy he has been manipulating. What I love about both of these dark romances is the redemtion arc and happy ending.

Both start out as a fake relationship that lead to both boys developing feelings for each other. While I do like Cause Your My Boy better, Love Sick has a more believable reason to start the fake relationship.

Both are 50-episode family dramas that dive into the complexities of relationships, generational conflicts, and everyday life within a family setting. What really stands out, though, are the couples—each pairing brings its own charm, from soft and heart-fluttering moments to playful, lighthearted interactions that balance out the heavier family themes.
