Voluntarily participating in an experiment to find a vaccine for the deadly Emmanuel Virus that's devastating Africa, Catholic Priest Sang Hyun manages to become the sole survivor of the experiment due to a contaminated blood transfusion that also infected him with the vampire virus. Not Perfect, But Still Good
I came to this film because it's a Park Chan-Wook work and because of Song Kang-Ho. I wasn't disappointed in either. The supporting cast, especially Kim Ok-Bin, did a great job. This was a dark, comic, vampire love story and I enjoyed the many levels of the film. This movie is not for everyone: it's long, it lulls at points, and it's brutal and sexy. THIRST is definitely original and worth watching to the end.

A visually stunning movie whose music and actors swept me away the instant I turned it on. The characters are so well thoughtout, each depicting a side to vampirism. Through their whirlwind love I'm still left rooting for them even in the end. An erotic love story, Thirst, was wonderfully entertaining and well worth the time.
