There’s a strong focus on missed timing and emotional gaps, with plenty of silence, and nostalgic moments. The stories are completely different though ....I just felt a small What Comes After Love energy, maybe cuz of the Japanese actors and cinematography,,,, that’s why I’m adding it here.

Similarly both dramas keep you on the edge if your seats for those who love Luoyang. Both have intense plot and a scheming master mind behind and worth the watch

Adachi's actor (Eiji Akaso) plays a hot-headed former boxer that was framed for murder that slowly and awkwardly gains feelings for the protagonist. Sorta like kurosawa does

they are both dark, psychological centred around morally ambiguous female leads who blur the line between victim and villain. Each series focuses more on character psychology than romance, exploring obsession, manipulation, and the consequences of ambition. Instead of clear heroes, both shows present complex, unsettling protagonists whose choices drive intense and suspenseful storytelling.
