Same actors; similar level of sweetness
Watch if you're into cute romantic fluff with supportive side characters and relatively little scheming second leads!

both are about an investigation/police trying to catch criminals. brain man has more suspense and violence but both male leads have a tragic past and are trying there best to get over it. also, the male leads start void of emotions and they meet a woman, in brain man its a psychiatrist but in final life its an old flame. memories are involved in both of them, they are a key part of the story.

Both are heavy political dramas and have a Crown Prince as ML. Both crown princes are very similar and want to be good kings who really care for people. Haechi has more action while Secret Door is more psychological. One thing to keep in mind is that the 2nd male lead in Secret Door is also the main character in Haechi. Both characters and dramas are based on true story. Obviously each drama tells its own version about personality of this prince (and later King).

- college setting
- MLs have a similar feel. They are both attractive, smart, cold people but they like the FL first and a lot.
- there is SFL lead that chases the male ML but he dislikes and mistrusts her and makes it very clear (I actually think that the SFL in professional single is more creepy because of the way she follows the ML even after he makes it very, very clear he does not like her even a little; as even just a human or friend. She feels like a stalker to me at times).

The ML from The Uncanny Counter is the SML in Hot Stove League. The drama is a sports melodrama where every episode the ML solves a different conflict in the baseball team "Dreams" which has been on the last rank since the past few years. The ML's dream is to bring "Dreams" on top again. The ML's performance was outstanding in that drama too.

The ML's sister is in a "sham" marriage, the annoying SML who can't let go of the FL, FL trying to leave one complicated relationship to get into another that's equally complicated, cute and affable ML pursuing the FL first, even the aesthetic on the poster looks the same

If you like the parents/family dynamics of the Ban's in "A Girl Like Me", then you would love the family dynamics of the Li's in "Oh! My Sweet Liar". Both dramas feature amazing warm, unconventional families with open minded and wise parents. These parents make the viewers love the characters and wish there are more parents like these in dramas.

A couple of the most relaxing works from Japan. Both feature the talents of Kobayashi Satomi and Motai Masako. In both, Kobayashi stars as a middle-aged woman running a quirky small business. Both are written and directed by a woman. Though the creative forces behind them are different, the two women share similarities in directing style and aesthetic. Both also feature abundant nature and local folklore, lending a magical vibe to the stories. Whether or not there's any actual magical involved is up to the viewer to decide.
