Both are revenge dramas.I can say this a less irritating version of Kleun Cheewit. Also both main leads did an amazing job in both dramas

Both are about a family of detectives. A great balance of comedy, quirkiness and family drama.

Both of the main character's love interests had a tough time growing up.
In both dramas the main character's sister(s) did unnecessary things to make her life hard.
Both of their mother's died when they were little.
Both are historical.
Both helped their love interests positively change their reputation.

- Both leave a heavy impact on you both throughout the series with their hard subject matters and incredible acting. While Smile Has Left Your Eyes has characters that deteriorate mentally, Just Between Lovers has more healing from such a bleak mentality.

- The Male Leads have a very similar outlook on life. Both are fairly nihilistic due to their experiences and troubles. With the female leads trying to help their counterparts with warming love and friendship.

- Both deal with subject matters that are more dark than your usual K-Drama. SHLE has cults, stabbings, harsh deaths. JBL is a little more political but there is drug use and sexual underworld plots.

Sword snow stride is similar to listening snow tower because both of them tells similar storyline but differently

Very similar but a narrower focus.
- Also deals with the aftermath of a murder and the impact on the victims' and perpetrators' families
- all the pain, grief and social isolation both sides go through
- discusses mental illness
- healing and both sides forgiving each other
- masterpiece dramas
This drama has more romance though and is much sadder.

They're both short cosmetic BL comercials by KA staring the same actors, First Kanaphan and Up Poompat.

These two movies are similar because in both demon (fox/cat) was saved by human and fallen in love with her savior.

Both are about the self-destruction of the yakuza world. "Graveyard of honour" is a remake of Kinji Fukasaku's 1975 film of the same name, which is based on the life of a real-life Yakuza member.

Both are about betrayal and revenge in the yakuza world. "Ambition without honour" is a hommage to the film "Battles Without Honor and Humanity" directed by Kinji Fukasaku in the first half of the 70's.

A robot or another guy: a relationship seems impossible, so it is easy to open up. But what is this feeling towards this guy or robot?
In both cases we see a slow growing of fondness and friendship, that is impossible to result in a boyfriend/girlfriend-relationship. At least it would be, wouldn't the guy or robot be posing as such while really being a girl.
Also again: soundtrack similarities. It really is clever, to produce a few good pieces to put them into multiple dramas!
Same goes for the Liar and his lover - just confusing, that in both dramas the same song is "composed" by the characters, otherwise it could be called "same universe".

Both center around a story that consists of the leads tracking down dangerous criminals all the while falling in love with each other. Sizzling chemistry and heaps of plot twists.

Rakugo plays an important part in both of these stories. They are both dramas that are told by using rakugo as a device.

Even though "I Told Sunset About You" and "Hello Stranger" are made in different countries, both BL series tackles the struggle of young boys to accept their own feelings. Because of Societal Norms, they are not accepting who they are.
