Similar stories. Both involve a mother and daughter swapping bodies. They get experience each other lives for a short amount of time. Both touch on the bond of not understanding one and another. They are both pretty light hearted.
Teach you a lesson gave off very similar vibes to taxi driver, as they both have teams who so happened to be super over powered and strategic when going agaisn't the villains. Not to mention, each episode in both shows tackle a different issue, while teach you a lesson focuses mainly on issues in schools, taxi driver expands this and in the other seasons, even goes overseas in some episodes.
Both **Boyhood** and **Teach You a Lesson** share a similar theme of bullying, personal growth, and standing up against injustice. In both dramas, the main characters begin as ordinary students who are often underestimated or mistreated by others. As the story progresses, they become stronger, gain confidence, and learn to face their challenges instead of running away from them. Friendship also plays an important role, as supportive companions help the protagonists overcome difficult situations. Both series combine school life with emotional moments, humor, and action, making the stories engaging and relatable. In addition, they highlight the importance of courage, self-respect, and perseverance when dealing with hardship. Although the plots, characters, and settings are different, the central message remains the same: people can grow through adversity and become stronger by believing in themselves. These similarities make both dramas inspiring and enjoyable for viewers who appreciate meaningful coming-of-age stories.
Slice of life, character driven plots. Both have characters that are healing from childhood wounds and learn how to self advocate and confront their parents. Both dramas understand that the ultimate expression of love isn't a grand gesture; it’s a shared meal. There's a family owned restaurant in both shows that is a frequent setting. Time apart as a catalyst for personal growth and a relationship reset is also used in both.
Both are set in a beautiful seaside setting with a small town vibe. The community is tight knit, with couples and families having unique stories. The MLs have grown up in the community, are warm, and know everyone. The FLs are capable and career minded. Both are character driven, mature, slice of life stories that will become your favorite comfort dramas!
Both star Han Ji Hye.
Both ensemble family dramas.
HJH's characters in both are in very similar circumstances- unaccepted and looked down upon by her rich husband's family, recently separated from her husband (death/divorce) but still stuck in his working world. Her new romance also starts out on a similar bad foot (bickering/disliking dynamic).

Not that true happyending as The Blossoming Love has, but light enough.

Love is Sweet is one of my comfort dramas and I get the same vibe from Love Has Fireworks.
Specifically Tan Jian Ci's characterization of Li Yi Fei very much reminds me of Leo Yun Xi's character Yuan Shai, if you told me that Tan Jian Ci studied Leo Yun Xi's work to do this character, I would believe it.
Qian Fei's character is also a little like Jiang Jun but not the same as I am seeing the Li Yi Fei being almost interchangeable with Yuan Shai.
Of course there is the co-habitation similarity and the finance industry and the ML guiding the FL to assist with career growth.
