Similar concept between the two series using the lockdown caused by the COVID pandemic as the basis of their stories. The stories are told in a video chat type format and quality, where the audience Is watching the video conversations between the two characters.

The difference is the Gameboys series is one long story thread about the blossoming friendship/love between the two main characters. Whereas Quarantine Stories are 10 distinctLy unique short films that have no storyline connection between each film in the series.

In both:
(1) archery plays a major role
(2) the main characters are in school
(3) romance & competition are significant for plot development
(4) their social lives are rooted within their respective teams
(5) an ancillary, but important, character is hospitalized
(6).G-rating

In contrast:
(1) BtK, (Japanese movie) the FL is the primary archer
(2) BoYimM (Chinese drama) the ML is the focal archer.

These films are similar in such a way that certain characters either have issues with the past or want to change the past to save someone in the future. Orange touches on the parallel universe while Take Me To The Moon included magical time travel elements.

It released the same year.. and shows a group of youths fighting to take down a corporation and make it in the food industry. Similarities are that both are youth dramas, focussed on friendship and support and are about achieving dreams or goals.

When We Were Young is a chinese remake version of Korean's Who Are You. So you can try watch this if you like to watch chinese drama. Of course, chinese drama usually tend to prolong their story. This one is too. It have 32 episodes so it a bit long and more detail but if you dont mind about it and want to watch every remake versions of School 2015:Who Are You, then you need to watch this one too!

Both series are set in smiliar eras.
Both series has Kevin as the ML.
Both have a love triangle in them.
Similar genres too.
And I subconsciously preferred the romance between the
FL and second ML, for BOTH series.

They're both about people stuck inside a story

Both female leads aren't the female leads of the story that they're stuck and just supporting characters that are meant to die off early.

but unlike tiger and rose where only the female lead is self-aware, extraordinary you has multiple characters become self-aware over time.

Both dramas have a romance façade, but are truly about societal and psychological issues. There's moral grayness all around.

The love triangle is prevalent in both.

Both are very dark dramas that talk about more sensitive subjects~
Although the plots are pretty different they are both sad love stories that the characters had to go through a lot to be with the person they love. They are both very dramatic and once you start you cant stop watching, wanting to always see what happens next.

Similar ML that are cold and mean to the girl that likes them but later warms up to them and does cute things with them. A little bit different because it is a high school love story and the girl already originally liked him from the start but still a very cute love story like Touch your Heart.
