both the haunted palace and the east palace tell the story of fighting to get rid of vengeful spirits that hate and chase after the royal family. these spirits carry deep anger from the past and want to cause harm to the palace people. the stories happen in old royal grounds and the main pair work well together and have a nice connection that feels natural. there is also light comedy placed throughout the show so it feels fun and easy to watch even while dealing with dark and scary supernatural forces that threaten everyone living inside the palace walls.

both moving and family matters center on ordinary-looking people who hide extraordinary powers and keep deep secrets to protect the ones they love, both show how family members look out for each other and face great danger together, and both prove that love and bond between people matter more than anything else when threats come close to home.

both vigilante and a bona fide killer follow main characters who live normal public lives but secretly go after dangerous criminals the law failed to punish, both show the struggle to keep their secret while being chased by authorities and reporters, and both explore the truth that taking justice into your own hands brings big risks and hard choices when the system does not work right.

Lovely Runner is a great recommendation for fans of My Boss, My Bias because both dramas feature a K-pop idol and a female lead who is a devoted fan and part of the idol’s fandom. Both explore the emotional connection between a fan and her favorite idol, with romance developing around that relationship. While Lovely Runner adds a time-travel and fantasy element, its fan–idol dynamic makes it a strong thematic match for viewers who enjoyed My Boss, My Bias.
