BOTH have this theme:
• "star-crossed lovers", a phrase describing a pair of lovers whose relationship is often thwarted by outside forces (Source: Wiki) OR whose relationship is doomed to fail (Source: dictionary.com)
• CLOY - 2 people from different world's (South Korean woman stumbles into North Korean man's territory by accident)

• Both - Love grows through their circumstances / fate
• CLOY - a NK army officer helps woman hide her SK identity
Lost in 1949 - Streetwise man helps woman hide her Communist agent identity
• BIG DIFFERENCE

Both films incorporate their own unique variations of the classic Holmes-and-Watson dynamic, with two seemingly incompatible but nevertheless well-matched characters that team up to solve a murder case. Highly recommended if you're a fan of period pieces that feature capable characters and unlikely partnerships, along with a dash of action, mystery, and bromance.

Both dramas involves a serial murder case that remained unsolved for 20 years. And there are few other plots points that are quite similar yet presented differently in Beyond Evil/Tunnel.

The main serial case in both dramas have a lot of similarities, in which it may be based on the same murder case that sparked many different dramas and movies based on it. In both dramas there seem to be some hidden conspiracy which lead to people attempting to cover up the murder cases and led them remained unsolved.

I can almost guarantee that if you like one you'll like the other. I don't want to spoil anything, but they both share common themes in perspective, romance, music, and life. I can't recommend .to Jenny enough, the only problem it has is being too short. Though do be aware the OST for .to Jenny will get stuck in your head for weeks or in my case months. It is spectacularly wholesome and will really pluck at your heart strings.
